 "Why are you so obsessed Maddy?"asked my bff Nicole.

"Why do you always ask that question?"I answered.

We were at the beach like we practically always are. Nicole glared at me as she always does when she asks this question; my answer is always the same.

"I got to go now I will see you later,"she said, she waved and walked of.

I got up and walked to the sapphire water. "Agh!"I screamed, I had stepped on something sharp- probably a seashell. I stepped back to see that it wasn't a seashell at all: it was a ring. Curiosity got the best of me so I picked it up;

there was a shimmering blue stone in the middle of it and the steel circle was engraved with words I couldn't understand. I remembered studying Latin once in school so I read the strange markings.

That definitely wasn't Latin but it seemed familiar and I don't know why. I decided to take it home to take a closer look since it had bothered me so much.

 The ring was the most beautiful thing I had seen in a long time but it was very perculiar how it was just stranded on the beach.

"I'm home!" I shouted as I walked into my house.

I scuttled up to my room and dramatically jumped onto my bed. Carefully, I placed the ring on my bedside table and turned on my phone to check my social media. After a while, I typed into google.

I read the strange markings again to see if I read it wrong but no.

Fed up, I place the ring on my finger and it made me love it even more. I started posing in my mirror thinking I looked cool until my phone started to ring.

"Hello?"I asked.

"Hey, it's Olivia, I left my ring at the beach yesterday I wondered if you have seen it? It has a blue stone in the middle of it," Olivia replied.

"Oh I have a ring it has some weird markings on it in a different language," I explained.

"Do you? Please don't say you put it on!" She bellowed.

"Yes I have it! I put it on what's the worst that could happen?" I laughed.

"Uhhh keep it, I gotta go!" She whispered, then ended the call.

Why was she so worried about me putting it on it's just a ring! I felt bad but kind of glad she let me keep it: it's beautiful! Twirling my brown hair, I continued scrolling through social media and putting a picture of me showing of my ring on instagram. 

It was getting late so I decided to take a shower.

Grabbing a unicorn onesie, I stepped into the bathroom and got in the shower. The water started plummeting down on me then I fell and banged my head on the shower door.
