Over the past several years there have been numerous studies conducted regarding the effectiveness and uses of CBD for both humans and pets.

Currently, researchers at Colorado State University are examining the effectiveness of using CBD oil with dogs that suffer from epilepsy. According to Dr. Stephanie McGrath, a neurologist at Colorado State University’s James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital, “89 percent of dogs who received CBD in a clinical trial had a reduction in the frequency of seizures.”

Another added benefit of CBD for pets is safety. Unlike many of the traditional pain medications used for pets that have negative and even life-threatening side effects, CBD is completely safe and won’t cause a “high” or sedated effect upon consumption.
