This actually is a true story about how I became so close to cats. I am typing Dulcy Book 1 and a half: Stories about Dulcy about things that Dulcy did before going to La Paz, Bolivia. That book will be filled with stories of stuff that Dulcy did and that might make you know her better. You might be wondering..... Who the HECK is Dulcy ? Read this book to figure out !
New Books coming out soon. If you guys want me to do a book about my dog, Pampita who sadly passed away, you can let me know down in the Romantic Fiction Community. I heard tons of stories and you will see my different childish behavior. I have become more mature this year and I really feel like it. I feel too old for getting balloons although last year I was so hyper and so enjoying life like VERY wild. Anyway, go read Dulcy’s life and stuff....
In a night of the year 2015, I was sleeping. Until my Mom and Dad were holding a baby Persian cat. In the beginning that night, I was scared of her because I thought that she was going to scratch me. To describe her, her fur was VERY, VERY soft. But now she is very big. Anyway, Mom told me to try touch her. I touched her in a very scared way very slowly like if I was going to touch electricity or something. Her fur was gray. She had green eyes and on her chest, it had white fur. She began to purr. I went back to sleep because Mom told me to. A few minutes later, Dad came to me asking me if I’ll like to help him making the room for my cat. I said “ Yes. ” and we did. We began doing Dulcy’s room ( which includes taking a lot of stuff out of that tiny room ) until Mom came. She was NOT happy knowing that I was not in bed. She told me to go back to my room and go sleep. I did. That year, I was in second grade. The unsuspecting present became my friend. This unsuspecting present was ALSO a gift from my Grandma. The reason why she thought of sending this kitty to Santa Cruz, Bolivia which is my home was because my Dad used to own a cat. Her name was Minina. But they had to take Minina away when his new brother was born and because he became allergic to cats. Minina got a new owner and of course, my Dad was upset but it was for Rodrigo’s ( his brother ) good. Sadly, Rodrigo loved cats. His allergic reaction was that his throat closed and he is unable to breathe and this could cause death. So Rodrigo never came over or else he could die.
In a day with no school, I was still thinking for a name for the cat. At that time, my family liked to watch the Cat in Boots episodes. In those episodes, there was a cat named Dulcinea. My Dad told us that we MUST call her like that. Although her real name was Dulcinea ( Dulcy is her nickname ), everyone has nicknames for her. My family are Bolivians and also Latinos so my Mom called Dulcy this food which was Empanada which I felt like if she was making fun of her. Of course she wasn’t, she was just kidding. Me and my brother in that time loved Super Mario. I was more into the Koopalings ( aka the Koopa Kids ). Well, we had New Super Mario Bros. Wii. One of the bad guys was called Lemmy. Wendy O. Koopa was my favorite one because she was a girl. Lemmy was a boy but to make it more girly, I changed it to Lemmita. I used to like Ever After High ( EAH ) at that time, too. I used to call her Goldilocks ( Spanish: Ricitos de oro ** pronounced risitos de oro ** tip: the e is read in Spanish ) and she did not like it. She would run like a maniac to me whenever I said the word Goldilocks. She even tried to scratch me. I don’t know why she hates that name so bad. Who knows why but she does. All the time I would say:
“ Hi Goldilocks ” or
“ How are you, Goldilocks ? ”
or ANYTHING with the word Goldilocks, she would be very wild. Well, I was kinda teasing her. But then, I forgot about the Goldilocks thingy so instead, I just continued calling her with the name Lemmita.
Any time I would be crying or anything, she would cheer me up by coming to my room and being with me.
