Okay so this chapter is called Sarah cause that’s my birth name. But it doesn’t fit me, I am writing this for my friends who wonder why my name is Alex on this. You see I am nonbinary and well Sarah doesn’t work. I wanted a name that you could be either a male or a female. Alex is a great name for that, yes there are a lot of people named Alex at school but still...

Until someone gives me a better name that works if you where either  a male or a female, I am keeping Alex.  

Back to why I wrote this. I wrote this not only for why my name is Alex but for other “just starting out” nonbinary people. Like if they wanted to change their name, or they didn’t know what to do now that they know. I had no clue what to do when I figured it out. I thought that if I was going to be neither male or femaleI needed to change my name, I hated Sarah anyway. I chose a name that could work for a male or female. I then thought that I could have my friends use they/them/their instead of she/her/hers. I am still working on that though. 

 I am not Alex so if you are my friend or know change my contact to Alex and please call me Alex. Also when you use pronouns for me, use they/their/them please. If you call me dude I don’t care. I really don’t, just don’t say she her hers or him he his. Okay thanks.
