Chapter 1

I called Hestia on my Olympian phone, I was sitting on a chair across from a sofa, where Michael and Terra sat. They sat there nervously. Terra fiddled with her rock dagger, and kept growing plants random places, and then making them disappear. Michael just tried to calm her down. Hestia picked up a couple rings later, “Hello?” I answered, “It’s Olivia, would you mind coming to Camp for a bit? There’s a problem.” She said, “I’ll be there in a couple seconds.” I said, “Okay.” And hung up. I told Terra and Michael, “Close your eyes.” They both looked at me like, Are you insane? But they did anyway. Just then, there was a flash of orange, and Hestia appeared. I told them, “You can open your eyes now.” They did, and then saw Hestia. Terra scrambled to stand up and bow. Michael just bowed his head a little. Hestia laughed, “No, we don’t do that here.” It took me a while to understand it, but once I did I asked, “You finally watched Infinity War?” She nodded, and then we both started laughing. Both of the demi-primordials looked at as weirdly. I pointed at them, “I will get you to watch Marvel, and you will like it.” Terra looked a little frightened, while Michael shifted closer to Terra, as if to protect her if he needed to. Hestia sighed and shook her head. Then she asked, “Why did you call me here?” I asked, “What would you think if there were ever children of Gaea or Tartarus?” She hesitated, “Well, we’d have to figure out if the child of Gaea worked with their mother during the War, and we don’t really have anything against Tartarus, so nothing for a child of him.” I looked at her in a, Hello. What about me? manner. She corrected, “I don’t have anything against Tartarus.” Michael looked at me worriedly. She asked me, “Why do you ask?” I pointed to Terra and Michael. She seemed to get what I was hinting at and her eyes widened, “You mean-” I finished for her, “That Terra’s mom is Gaea and Michael’s dad is Tartarus? Then yeah.” She asked, “Where-How did you find them?” I told her, “I found them at the exit from Tartarus where I got out in New York.” She asked, “They grew up in Tartarus too?” I nodded, “That’s what I assume.” Michael nodded. I said, “We don’t have cabins for them. What should I do? Make some?” She said, “I guess.” I sighed, “I guess it’s time to play Tony to Steve.” She nodded. Then she said, “Oh! I meant to tell you, the Winter Solstice meeting tonight, so you might want to ‘Play Tony to Steve’ tomorrow.” I sighed, “I forgot. Hestia, thank you for reminding me.” I turned to the new campers, “For now, you can bunk with Kyle and Kylie. They’re the Kronos kids. They are the only ones in their cabin, so there should be enough room for you two. I’ll get Luna to show you there. I’ll make you guys cabins tomorrow, and then play Tony to Steve with you guys tomorrow.” Terra asked, “What does that mean?” I said, “It’s for exactly that. To teach you guys about the mortal world. Trust me, it’s awesome.” She asked, “But why Tony and Steve?” I told her, “You’ll figure out tomorrow.” I told Hestia, “Head to Olympus without me, I have to get Luna to get these two to the Kronos cabin, and then I’m going to check on the campers that got ear bleeds from the Kokkovátes.” She nodded. I told Terra and Michael, “Look over there!” While pointing to a random place on the ceiling. They looked to where I was pointing while Hestia took it as her que to leave, which it was. When they looked back at me Terra said, “There wasn’t anything there, why did you do that?” I said, “Because I just saved your lives. If a mortal-or even Half-Blood- looks at a god while they flash out, they will burn to ashes.” Michael said, “You saved Terra’s life, I’m immortal.” I nodded, “Good to know.” Then I said, “Follow me, Luna should be at the archery range.” Once we got there I asked, “Could you take Terra and Michael to the Kronos cabin? And I have the Winter Solstice meeting in a bit, so could you or one of the other Phoebe kids watch the Camp and take care of the campers? I’m so sorry I’ve been having you watch the Camp a lot, but things should start slowing down once the Kokkovátes are gone.” She nodded, “No problem. Hey, Peter, could you take these two to the Kronos cabin?” He nodded, gestured for Terra and Michael to follow him, and they took off to the Kronos cabin. Luna said, “I’ll take care of the Camp.” I said, “Thank you so much. When I get back, you are getting promoted.” She said, “I didn’t think you could get promoted.” I told her, “You can’t really, I’m asking you to be my co-leader here at Camp.” She nodded, “I would be honored. But what about the Phoebe cabin?” I told her, “You can have whoever you want be counselor of the cabin. Oh! And the counselor meeting is tonight. Elaborate on what happened with the Kokkovátes earlier.” She nodded, “Okay.” I went to the infirmary, and saw that most of the campers that had had ear bleeds were gone and at their campers, while the ones with more severe ones were either sipping on Nectar, or eating some Ambrosia. I quickly Moon Traveled to the throne room, into my throne, with my normal clothes on, a black tee, jeans, and white converse. Hestia was next to me. She asked, “What are you going to do with Terra and Michael?” I shrugged, “I don’t know, but I’m having them bunk with the Kronos kids for the night, and tomorrow I’ll make them cabins. Once I’m done that, I’m going to teach them about the mortal world. Starting with Marvel movies, and ending with food.” She laughed, “I had a feeling you’d get them into Marvel. Are you going to get them into music to? Please don’t be excessive, Kyle and Kylie didn’t like it much.” I scratched the back of my neck and laughed nervously, “Yeah, I’m going to try to find a musician they’d like. I already have some ideas.” Hestia started, “Olivia-” Then Zeus made it thunder, telling us the meeting had started and to shut up. I looked at Apollo’s empty throne, and I felt sadness build in my chest, but I pushed it back down. I owed him. A lot. He saved Aiden from dying. Speaking of Aiden, I turned and saw him sitting in his throne, playing with a green light that I assumed was time, like in Doctor Strange with the Time Stone. Zeus said, “Hello, Olympians. We have some very important matters to discuss.” I thought, Please don’t be ‘Who’s better, me or Poseidon?’ again. I created myself a can of Sprite, and then popped it, it made a hissssss sound, like sodas usually do. All the gods turned to look at me. I smiled sheepishly, “Opps.” Hestia shook her head, but I could tell she was suppressing a smile. I also saw Aiden still playing with time, avoiding looking at me. Zeus said, “Who is better, me or Poseidon?” I sighed, This is going to be a long meeting.

Prologue

I turned to Luna, “Kokkovátes.” Her eyes widened. I then realized that she can’t fight them. Only Alexa, Asher, and I can. And Alexa and Asher are tending to the kids with ear bleeds. I told Luna, “You can’t fight them. So what I need you to do is watch Terra and Michael, make sure they don’t get into trouble. They are in the Moon Mansion.” A Kokkováte tried to get into the barrier, shrieked, and turned into dust. I finished, “Bring them to the Phoebe cabin so that you can watch the Phoebe kids too. They need their counselor.” She nodded, and headed to the Moon Mansion. I held up my hand and pointed it at a Kokkováte and thought, Well here goes nothing. A white light shot out of my hand, and hit the monster. It shrieked and turned to dust. I then had a idea. I pulled at my Shen amulet, and it turned into my scythe from my mom and Iapetus. I then made my hand glow with the white light I had used to kill the Kokkováte, and placed it on the blade of my scythe. The blade that had been silver started glowing white. I was about to attack when I thought better of it, I made earplugs out of moonlight and put them in my ears. I thought, There we go. And ran up to the monsters, and attacked. All the while my eyes where a blueish color, the color of Alexa and Asher’s eyes. I hit them with the white light, and hit them with my scythe. Each time one of my attacks hit a Kokkováte they exploded. I was lucky I had thought of making earplugs, otherwise I would be in the infirmary with an ear bleed like some of the other campers.

Once they were all gone, I went to the Moon Mansion to change, my clothes were ripped pretty badly, and it had some ichor on it. I put some moonlight in the cuts to keep them from bleeding, and the cuts were silver, so it looked like I had silver skin here and there. The moonlight should speed up my already speedy recovery time, so I should be able to let go of the moonlight sooner than later. And because of my using the moonlight, my silver eyes glowed brighter than usual. I went from cabin to cabin telling everyone they were gone. Once I finished doing that, I went to the infirmary to see Asher and Alexa running from camper to camper to help them. But, surprisingly, I saw the Kronos twins running from camper to camper too. They manipulated a green light- which I knew was time- and basically made their ears heal. Like when Doctor Strange used the Time Stone to play with the apple in the beginning and he made only the Apple seem the go forward and backward in time, rotting, but not the table it was on. It was similar, they healed the ears, while leaving the rest of the body alone, like he left the table alone. I didn’t know why I hadn’t thought of getting them to do that before. They were pretty creative, I had to admit. I called, “Kylie.” She walked over, her long black hair getting in her face when she turned from Peter Johnson to look at me. I saw that her golden eyes were glowing more than normal because of her using her powers. I asked, “How did you think of doing this?” She shrugged, “I don’t know, I watched Doctor Strange yesterday and thought of it.” I chuckled, I may or may not have gotten most of the campers in Camp into Marvel. Mostly the ones that came from Tartarus, to get them to know more about the mortal world. Kyle and Kylie were some of those kids. I only didn’t know them in Tartarus because they had ran away before I was old enough to make memories, and it took them about a year to find their way out, and they were placed from foster home to foster home, so they only knew the worse parts of humanity. I had helped them know the better part. I said, “Well, you should probably go back to helping Kyle.” She nodded, “Yeah. I probably should.” She turned, and went back to helping Peter.
