I was lost in my imagination, again. Most times I thought about a perfect world. Where there was no war, no hate, and everyone was happy. Then again, without war we would be nothing. I would be nothing. Today was different. I was imagining my perfect world, but that wasn't the main focus. It was her. She was in my head. She wouldn't leave. But I couldn't tell you who she was, or why she was here. But she was definitely the perfect thing in the world, and I wished that she existed. "Ray! Ray! Raylin!" A voice called out, interrupting my thoughts "hey Ray!" It was Crystal. Maybe she was where I had gotten the idea of the perfect woman. If you had ever seen perfection, you'd seen Crystal.

"Oh, hey Crys" I smiled. She was beautiful. Her brown hair shone in the morning light, and her bright green eyes twinkled.

"I was, well" she paused and looked down at the grass beneath her, " I was wondering if you wanted to-" her voice trailed off

"Whatever it is, I would probably like to do it" I grinned and Crystal gave me a slight smile.

"You know what, how about I just explain it over breakfast. Does that sound good?" She asked

"Sounds lovely" I replied.

Raylin Sanders wasn't somebody you would call ordinary, but at the same time you wouldn't call him different. I'd always known him as "he's just Raylin, and that's how Raylin is." You could never tell what he was going to say, or think, or even do next. All I was hoping is that he would help me. That's all I needed. Somebody that if they heard a plan that was crazy enough, they would do it. And this was one of those plans.

"Hi! I'm Maya and I'll be your waitress for today! What can I get you?"

"I'll get a coffee with bacon and eggs" I  said, her eyes darting over to me with a serious look

"I'll have coffee with French toast" Ray said , looking back at Me

Maya wrote down our orders and left without another word.

"Ok. Here's the plan"

There she was. The most beautiful woman in the whole world. Crystal Evans, sitting with that psychopath Raylin. I don't see how she could even put up with him. They seemed to be getting along well, maybe too well. Maybe I could get close enough that I could listen in on there conversation. But one of them would probably notice me. I could here snippets of their conversation.

"I... they... river... hole"

It was mostly Crystal talking. But you could clearly hear what Ray had said,

"This is the most insane thing you have ever thought of. But it's just so insane that it just might work."
