Vanessa

"Ugh. It's Monday. At least it's a Monday on spring break. That's good. I'm really tired though..." Vanessa says to herself. She smells  pancakes. She walks out of her room and goes down the stairs. "Hey sweetie! How well did you sleep last night?" Her mom says to her delightfully. "Ugh it was ok." Vanessa said "Oh ok..." Her mom replied. Vanessa's dad walks in. "Hey honey! Do you like the leaves on the ground outside? You could play in them!" Her dad exclaims. "Cool, Dad." Vanessa replies. "Pancakes are ready!" Mom exclaims. "Didn't you start putting those in the pan after I woke up? I woke up like 6 minutes ago..." Vanessa said in question. "Here you both go! Enjoy!" Mom replies. "Thanks Honey!" Dad replies to Mom. "Hey mom, didn't you make a pancake or two for yourself?? You deserve it after all this cooking anyway." Vanessa said. "Nope. I'm on a diet." Mom replies. "But you're in shape... Why are you on a diet..?" Vanessa questioned. "Because." Mom replies. "Hey Vanessa stop talking more eating." Dad interrupted. "Okay." Vanessa replied.

The weird

Vanessa walked up to her room from breakfast. She sat on her bed. "I wonder if  Faith isn't on vacation for break..." She said to herself. *DING-DONNNG* The doorbell rings.

Vanessa hurried downstairs to open the door. It was Faith. "Hi!!" Faith said. "Hey! What are you doing here-err I meant Come on in!" Vanessa stuttered. "Okay!" Faith replied. "Hey Faith!" Vanessa's Dad yelled from the living room. "Hello!!" Faith replied. I wonder why Faith came over to my house after I started to talk about her. Very odd... "Sorry I have to go to the store later. I have to go. Sorry! Talk to you later!!" Faith said. "Ok see ya!" Vanessa replied. I'm tired, so I'm gonna take a nap.

Vanessa woke up the next morning. She came downstairs. Gosh how long did I sleep?? "Hey Vanessa! I need to talk to you - err your Mother and I, need to talk to you..." Vanessa's dad said. "Okay... What is it?" Vanessa replied. Her mom sat down at the table. "Sweetheart, we have to move. We need to move into a smaller and cheaper home. You'll have to change schools." Mom said. "But all my friends are there!!" Vanessa said worriedly. "It's alright. We're moving 5 miles away from the school and about 5.2 miles away from this house." Dad said. "HOW IS THAT ALRIGHT? THAT IS NOT ALRIGHT TO ME!!!!!!" Vanessa exclaimed. " Dont worry. Just go pack." Mom said. "Okay fine. Sure. I'll go ahead and do that." Vanessa said angrily. She stomped upstairs. She packed her bags. I'm never gonna see ANY of my friends ever again!! Vanessa started to tear up.

She got done packing and went downstairs holding both her pink suitcase and her blue suitcase. How... Did they ge-t there ba-gs pa-cked al-rready..? "Let's leave now!" Dad said. "Okay..." Vanessa replied wiping her face from her tears.

The family got in the car. They drove off. They met at their new house. "Here we are!!" Dad said. "It looks so beautiful!!!!" Mom said. Ugh. I hate this place...

They all unpacked their stuff in the house. It was really quick. That's weird... " Well goodbye Faith, Olivia, Alaina, Harley, and - wait a minute... Why did we all of a sudden just move so fast? We didn't even tell anyone we were moving... Something weird is going on..." Vanessa muttered to herself. I'm taking a nap from this long day of devastation and boredom. She took a nap.

The Truth

Vanessa woke up  "Why am I at our old house... This is strange... - and its - MORNING??!" Vanessa told herself. She went downstairs. "Hey darling how was your nap? You've been sleeping for almost 5 hours!" Mom said. "I have? Oh well..." Vanessa replied.

"Why are we at our old house?" Vanessa said. "Old? What are you talking about?! We've always lived in this house." Dad replied. What is going on? Why is everything so weird?

Vanessa realized that she was dreaming the move. It was only a nightmare.
