Chapter 1

Once upon a time there was a girl named Amanda. Her brown glossy hair flew over her horse. Her horse Delilah trotted away. Delilah has red and brown mane and a brown body. She was beautiful in her own way. It was early in the morning and Amanda saddled Delilah up. Delilah knew they were going for a ride. She was a smart horse. Amanda put her foot in the stirrup and launched herself on to Delilah. Amanda and Delilah went over to an arena. There were a few jumps set up. Amanda and Delilah jumped over the first one then the second and third. Amanda jumped off Delilah and tied her to the fence. Amanda put the jumps in the barn and came out with 3 blue barrels. She set them up in a triangle like always. Delilah knew they were going to do the barrels. Amanda got back on Delilah and they headed for the right barrel. They got around it and went to the left barrel and then the last one in the point of the triangle. They got around it and galloped as fast as Delilah could go. That was what they wanted to do and they did it. Amanda pet Delilah and took her stuff off. Delilah felt like she was doing good and she was doing good. The ridding day was over but now it was time for the school day.

Chapter 2

Amanda just got off the bus and was ready for the school day. School was always easy for and she was self taught. Amanda's teacher Mr.S called on her for the answer of twenty two times two. I knew that so I said forty four. The rest of math was a little more challenging. There were problems like seventy three times twenty four. That was still kind of easy but harder than usual. After math we have recess and snack. It's cold outside so me and my friends put out coats hats and mittens on. My best friends are Arianne, Isla, and Elli. We always hang out together and have fun. I ran outside and sat on the bench with my friends. We ate are snack and talked. A little while later we had to go inside for the rest of the day. When I got home from school I went straight to the barn and tacked up Delilah. She was all rested and ready to ride. I set up several taller jumps so I could challenge Delilah and my ridding skills. There were five jumps and four poles to go around tow at the beginning and two at the end. "We can do it" I said aloud to the wind and the wild. Delilah wanted to be safe with the poles so we started at a trot. We went through the poles then we started to gain speed for the jumps. Then we got to the jumps one two three four five we did the jumps! Now we had to slow down for the poles so we went down to another trot and finished. I was proud of Delilah and she was proud of me.

Chapter 3

I just finished untacking Delilah. Our ride was good tomorrows ride would be even better. I went inside so I could start my homework even though it was due on Friday. It was easy spelling homework I know I said easy a lot but this is the easiest homework ever. It took me about five minutes to finish the homework so I had time to ride my moms horse Little One. Still all horses need to be ridden. I went down to the barn and Delilah yawned at me. She was tired and deserved a brake. I tacked up Little One and hopped on her. She was a little more stubborn the Delilah. I walked her for a bit then I set of the jumps. They were easy so I could get done faster. Little One jumped over one then two then the last one. She was quicker then Delilah so I had more time. But instead I untacked Little One. She didn't care. I knew she wouldn't. I jumped on Delilah bare back. I let her decide where to go. I just sat there and thought about life without Delilah. That would be terrible. I stopped thinking about that and jumped off Delilah. It was dinner time and I was happy. I put Delilah and Little One in there stalls. I ate dinner and went to bed. The day was done.
