Let's begin

"It is simply to hard to write the story of your father" - Said Khronos the time keeper. "Perhaps you could speak some words master everwood..."

His old eyes, wrinkled and tired stared at me. Expecting an answer I assumed. There is a point in life where the chance of growth becomes a life or death decision. This is that point for me, certainly I am not ready to make it.

"The elders will need your answer by this evening master, time is everything." - The old man said as he turned to the door. Turned the doorknob left. Wood creaked loudly... his steps faded slowly as he walked down the corridor.

Silence walked amongst me that morning... the centuries old white pine wood walls held the secet of my cries as it consumed my insides. Some tears commited suicide as they rolled down  cheeks straight into the abysm. This morning i'll never foget; the day I became an orphan.

The next couple of days turned out to be harder that expected. I, being only 12, had to join the ranks of the E.M.G (Elven Mages Guild). Hell was afraid of this school. Magic was... well, magic. And something that powerful can only be mastered through sacrifice. The bigger the sacrifice, the better you become at controlling magic.

My father not only was a Mage, he was commander of the Elements. These were the elite warriors of the elven kingdom. Each warrior a master of an element class, powerful enough to single-handedly dismiss a band of orcs in deadly terms. Fire, Water, Earth, Wind and light are what bind this world together. The E.M.G lives to understand, learn and control these vital elements for the purpose of protecting the realm from the evils that wish to rule the known world.

Which brings us to these very, very bad days.

E.M.G

 First day...

I was told to speak about my father at his funeral. I barely knew him. He was a silent, firm elf. Never spoke more than a couple of sentences. He used to tell these stories of his brotherhood, mostly stories of Orhen the seeker. This character of awe is a legendary warrior children grow hearing about.

"Pardon me..."

"Excuse me..."

"Kid!" - a robust tall elf yelled at me from behind. A funky breath and an orchis voice he had.

I turned to him, stared at his boots. Enhanced leather black boots, wonder what enhancement it possesses.

"Dante!" He yelled again.

"Follow me please." - said stinky as he firmly nudged my shoulder towards his pointed direction.

"I was told to wait here until I was called, and who are you?" - I replied after struggling loose from his grip.

"I'm your superior maggot, when I say walk you walk! Understood...?"

I don't know if it was the fact that I was tired of waiting in line, or, he really did intimidate me. Either way I grabbed my bag and walked.

The chapel was crowded, my folks were very well known. The scent of camomile and cinamon stenched the air, while the sounds of snobs tumbled around the scenery.

Stinky walked fast, pushing the crowd out of his way. If not for his height I definitely would've lost him in the sea of people. After a while of bumping, stepping, smelling and pushing strangers we were out of the crowd, right in the middle of the citadel plaza.

Stinky stood tall watching around as if he where looking for someone, maybe something.

"Lost something big guy?" - I asked

....

"Why did you drag me out of my parents funeral?" - I asked in an angry tone. Although I wasn't, I didn't want to go to the funeral in the first place. I never belonged in such crowds.

"Come little one, it's time..." - Stinky stepped forward just a couple of steps staring at the blue sky.

"Did I stutter?" - Yelled as he turned his head towards me.

Seconds later a blue bright light shone over him. I grabbed his extended hand. He gripped strong.

Stinky looked at me and said - "Get ready for the journey of you life little elf"

"Is he here?"

"He passed out"

"Get him to his room, as soon as he wakes up bring him to me"

- Sounds of steps get close... -

I woke up in a very pecular room. Silk covering me as a king would've had. The ceiling was there but also was the nigh sky. Centuries old brick walls covere the room, but it felt as if it was all new. The smell of wood and coffee was everywhere, the sound of nothing too. I felt at peace eventhough I felt kidnaped. Then it hit me...

"Welcome to the E.M.G maggot!" - yelled stinky as he barched through the door. He whore an shiny silver plated armor, like the ones the kingsmen use. He was showered and frankly a lot less scary than when I first saw him. His breath did not rain fire on my nostrils which is an upgrade, but why he was here or I, was still a mistery.

"I believe I was supposed to go to basic first... " - I said confused at the fact that I was pulled out of my parents funeral to be brought to a place I wasn't supposed to see in 5 years due to my age.

"Plans change little elf... bette get used to it" - stinky said while looking throgh a closet.

Not to change the subject but even the closet was stunning. Red mahogany with silver bolts and finishes. Black diamond knobs, hand carved scriptures and apparently endless space. Stinky stepped in the closet and naturally I blinked twice. Slowly I stepped down from the royal bed and walked towards the closet. As I peeked...

"Here! Put this on. Class starts in 15 minutes. Better wash that face too, you look terrible." - Stinky's hand broke through the darkness of within the magnificent storage piece holding what appeared to be a grey whool robe.

I took it, stared at him as he closed the closet doors and walked to the door. Grabbed the knob, turned it right, pulled the door slowly.

He stopped.

"I'm not stinky by the way... It's Blade Master to you Dante Everwood.

- Door shuts -

"How did he know..."
