Coming home

Isn't it funny, how life works. How everyone in it has a part. How the world works? Well I think it is. When I was younger I wanted to be an Astro naught or a cop. Then I got older and wanted to be a nurse. But then I got to high school. I got into a program and I'm now a marine. My name is Angel young. I'm 24 years old and I'm just getting back from being deported in afganastan. I'm going to surprise my family. God I miss them. As I pulled up to the drive way. I smiled. At the house. My home, I missed it. I got out and walked to the door. I was nerviouse to be perfectly honest. I hesitated to knock. When I did. I heard my youngest brother Kade yelling for my other little brother that someone's at the door. Jonas opened the door and almost knocked me too the ground. Crying hugging me. Then came Kade. And then my dad came down.  "What's all the companion down here. Oh my god. Your home." He said his voice cracking standing up I walked over to him and hugged my crying father. I missed them. My sister is still at work. My niece lily came down and yelled running. "Auntie Angel." She is so cute. I hugged her we were all crying by now. My mother died a year ago she had an over dose. I really wish she was here. "When did you get back?!" Kades quiet voice asked. Happily. "Yesterday. I wanted to suprise you guys. I missed you. "Why are you back so early you aren't supposed to be home for another year." "There was an accident. And I was sent home." I didn't want to say I was shot in front of my brothers and niece. Wow it sure is good to be home.

Visiting my mother

I woke up to the sun shining through the currents. The warmth of the sun on my pale skin. I got up showered and dressed. You know the usual morning routine. I walked to my car and drove to the cemetery. I walked till I found my mothers grave. I sat down and started talking to her. "Hey. Mom. I miss you. We all do. I was shot mom. I almost died. Why did you have to die. I wanted you here. Why did you leave. Me. I remember you told me as a kid to never give up and always do the right thing. I promise you that I will. Promise." "Angel?" I turned around and found my best friend Jane from middle and high school. "Jane?"  We hugged. "I heard you were back. I missed you." "I missed you too." We were so close we are like sisters. "Are you hurt?"  She is the one person I can tell. "Yeah. I was shot in my shoulder right above my heart. I almost died. So they sent me back home for good." "I'm so sorry. Dude." "Hey it is not your fault.  Ok. I decided to go in the army knowing full well the risks. It's my fault. She nodded. We walked to my car. "So Janna why you here." "My dad died while you were gone." "Oh no are you alright?" "Yeah I'm fine just miss him a lot." "Yeah." We went to a cafe and talked for hours. "So. You married or dating?" I asked teasingly. "Mabey." She said blushing. "OMG. Who?"  "Ok ok. He's tall and handsome and he treats me right. His name is James. And I love him." "Oh my gosh. You really are in love. Well are you married?" "No remember we help plan each others weddings. I am engaged though." She showed me her ring. We bothe squealed. And giggled. Until lunch. I missed my friends.
