The Last Dare
You said this was the last dare,
But her veins were already bare,
Bleeding out in the open
She lost all her tokens.
Hopelessly standing there,
With tears streaming down
You looked away
Pretending that non of this ever happened.
All she needed was a word,
But you gave her a look,
A look she can never forget.
She lied on the floor,
Holding on to the last piece of hope,
Slowly slicing layer by layer
To see if there is anything underneath
She can give to you.
