Have you ever felt like you were forgotten about, that you were the last person on earth..... well that's me times ten. I have always been the average female teenager, I hate school I love pizza, but that will soon change. My name is Alexis i'm a fifteen year old female and I've never gotten one inch of love or attention. Some might say that I am over reacting, but I could walk out and stay out and no one will even notice that i'm not around. However there was one night that changed the rest of my life for good.

It all started when I got in a disagreement with my eldest brother this was not the first time that me and my eldest brother had gotten in a fight, but it was the last. It all started with a simple argument about a white I phone charger.                                                                                                                                                                                "Alexis why did you take my charger" Alex said in rage.                                                                                                  "What do you want now?" I said in a agitated voice.                                                                                                        "Exactly what I mean!" .                                                                                                                                                            "First of all the charger was never yours in the first place, I was nice enough to let borrow it".                                       " MOM!" Alex yelled in a masculine voice.  Then my mom came in, with her hair tied up and her face scrunched       up looking irritated.                                                                                                                                                                     "What happened now?!"my mom said.                                                                                                                                     " She took my charger!" Alex said.                                                                                                                                        "No I didn't you idiot and IT'S MINE , mom you bought it for me mom" I said.                                                      "Let your brother borrow the charger and stop being difficult for the last time!".                                                          A few moments later my life had changed for better or for worse. I walked out of the house without any fear of the dangers that lurked around hungry for a bite. As soon as stepped out... the door had slammed shut and immediately I was locked out, I was stuck out side at approximately 12:32 am, but this was not the first time i'd been locked out. I looked up and saw the still crescent moon in the navy blue sky poking through the scarce white clouds. Then I left safety of my apartment building to go on a mid night stroll, that was a decision that I will always have mixed fillings about. As I walked through the sharp mid night air on my way to my neighborhood park, I noticed rustling in the trees near my house. At that moment I under estimated what was really scoundering  the woods.                                                                                                                               "HAHAHA foolish girl"the voice in the woods said.                                                                                                       " STOP don't come near me!"  I said, slowly turning in circles following where I heard the voices                                  He was a quick as lightning and suddenly *pop* I felt his pointy sharp teeth puncture my sensitive skin as my ruby red blood rushed down my neck on to my pure white shirt. "OOOOOHH" I scream in agonizing pain this was the worst pain I had felt in my whole life. Then he dashed off with out saying anything.                                           "Wha wha just happened!?" I stuttered.                                                                                                                                   Then I quickly scurried back to my apartment. The door was still locked, so I had to jump through my window into my room. As soon as my cold bare feet hit the ground I sprinted to the nearest bathroom in my house. In the mirror I saw my bloody red stained shirt and two very steep holes in the side of my neck, just looking at them gave me cold chills these chills gave me the urge to eat, but not just food.At this time I was flooded with a series of emotions, but I was mostly in pain from this bite . I didn't know what I was supposed to do with my self I was petrified for the first time and what I'd hoped for the last.  At that moment I decided to lay down in the comfort of my bed surprisingly all emotions had vanished and filled the thin crisp air. I stared at the rough white ceiling  as I slowly slipped into unconscious. When I woke  up I felt  a throbbing sensation in the side of my neck , forgetting everything that happened last night I looked to  the right wear my old fashion clock was and it was 7:30 I have to be to school by 9:00. So I slowly drag myself to the nearest bathroom                                                                          "AHHHHH" I scream in consternation, but no one hears me. The house is still and silent. There was one complication how am I supposed to go to school with two rooted holes still in the side of my neck. If I covered it up my peers might think it's something else.                                                                                                                           " Wait I could wear a choker" I said to myself.                                                                                                                        So I slip on my choker and as soon as I do my brother comes storming out of the door *bang* the door slams shut. I run out of the house trying not to encounter my stupid brother. Then I run to the school trying not to be late and as soon as I got to school *ring ring ring* that last minute bell had rang I was late. Then I decided that since I was already late I would just stay out for the day no one would care anyways.                                                                          Then I heard a voice "so you didn't die" the voice said.                                                                                                       "If that's what you wanted unfortunately no" I said in a fearless voice once again following the voice.                       "So your one of us now".                                                                                                                                                             "WAIT what am I?" I said in a baffled voice.                                                                                                                         "Your a blood sucker" then the voice evaporated  into thin air. My heart had dropped  into a endless pit of emotions. I immediately thought I was vampire, that could fly and that I am  burned by the sun, but it was much more than that. This was the biggest change in my life that I've had to deal with and now I have to figure out my new life style it's like being a two year old all over again. This was a problem that I didn't have the answer to another challenge that I was a victim of, now I am something that people fear at night something people hide from their children I'm a blood sucking beast. I was on my home when I noticed a young teenage male laying on the hard cold concrete with blood that was as thick as honey and red like a ruby, all over his mouth and his chest. The blood on his chest made me thirsty like a river of water except it was blood.
