Chapter 1

Hello. My name is Toni. This is the story of my life how I survived from crossing country to country on my trusty horse. My horses name is storm after my favorite noise in the air. The smell of rain dropping on our crops, growing every hour of day. My people outside enjoying every second of the rain pouring on their faces. Their teepees strongly holding to the dirt. "Chief Chief look what I found!" One of the young Native American boys ran towards my father with a seed that did not look to familiar. "What kind of seed is this Chief?" The boy questioning my father with a curious look. " Chaska my boy, what area of our land did you find that at?" The little boy with long hair turned and pointed over to a bush. " There's more I can show you." "Please do Chaska." My father had a worried look on his face as if he'd already knew what it was. We walked over to the bush that Chaska escorted us to and there were at least fifteen or more scattered across our green, grass land. "Get down." The Chief says quietly lowering us down in a bush that had posioned berry's in it. "But father why-" " I said get down Toni!" My dad yelling at me told me in my head that happened more than once. "There here, the white people." My dad gets his bow ready to shoot at the one closer to us near a bush across us. He grabs his arrow that he'd just sharpened. The next thing you know boom. The noise was so loud that it sounded louder than thunder echoing over the whole earth. "Father!" My father collapsed looking like a whole through his head covered with blood. Before he could drop the bow and arrow into the river I grabbed it as fast as I could. I remember before my great grandmother passed away she told me to never cry. I really wanted to at the time but just couldn't. At that moment protecting Chaska behind my back, I shot the arrow at the pale man in the noticeable bush. I dropped the bows and arrows and called for help from my cousins to carry him to the hogan and heal him. Chaska couldn't believe what happened. I could tell by how afraid and confused he looked while walking behind me grabbing my skirt. Walking towards one of the teepees where I lived with Chaska  and my mother. I was then thinking to myself. If there was one white man, there must be others.

Chapter 2

"Toni come here quick!" When I heard one of my cousins yell from the big brown hogan, I started running in my bare feet hoping my fathers still alive. When I move aside the cloth of the door opening I saw my father with his feathered Chief hat he always wore. "Your father passed away like the wind, Toni. He's in a better place now with your ansesters." I collapsed on the floor not believing what my cousins have just informed me. I could feel like a part of my heart was ripping out, away with my father. "No, it can't be true, he can't be dead." While trembling getting up from the ground, I grab onto my dads hand and put it on my head as I pray for the best for him. "We're sorry for your loss. We tried everything we could but the thing you thought was a seed, it was a bullet the white person shot at his head." I will get revenge. I will avenge my fathers death! I just needed a noble steed to find the white man. "Excuse me Kilua, where are the horses?" I asked looking around the land for the herd. "Oh why must you know Toni? Well if you insist, they are over that hill." "Thank you." Now to go get my horse Storm. My noble steed.

Chapter 3

When I ran across the field of green grass and sticky mud, I eventually found my horse on the other side of the hill. "Storm!" I called out as the other horses looked at me funny with grass in their mouths. I jump onto Storms back with one leg over and my hands grasping onto her mane as I pull myself up. Once I got on, I rode across the fields with my fathers bow and arrows on my back dangling as Storm gallops over the fields. It's a good thing the white people are easy to see in the green dark bushes. They don't hide very well, that's a good thing. When I pulled Storms mane to go the way I wanted, she stopped and stood on her back feet and bunked me off her back. I landed on my rear end when I noticed a young white man that looked my age standing I front of me. It looked like he was ready to fire his gun at my steed as he aimed at the tall, majestic horse. "Stop, don't hurt her!" I yelled out to the anonymous 14 year old. He stopped and looked at me and smiled " I won't for you beautiful." I look at him weirdly and confused. "Are you the one that killed my father?!" I asked preparing my bow and arrow for fire. He looked like he didn't know what I was talking about. "One of your people shot my father with a shotgun and he suffered of dieing slowly." He pushed himself off the ground and started heading towards me. He wore different clothes than my people that's for sure. It was a navy blue shirt that looked like the color of the sky and some pants to go with. He also had dark tree bark hair with blue ocean eyes to reflect the sun into a beautiful baby blue. "I have no idea what you're talking about princess." He grabbed my hand as I pulled away and got out my bow and arrows to protect me from the harsh man. "Don't come any closer than you are now. I need a favor." He tilted his head, confused. "What do you mean favor? I don't even know your name, you tried to kill me, and now you're asking me to help you?! You've gotta be kidding me." This boy is as stubborn as Chaska when he throws a fit.
