Introduction

It is a challenge, it can be challenging, it is looking into the mirror.

Week One

Susan, I just wanted to mention that I am a little worried - it happened again when I was typing an email, you know the letters were back to front - do you know what I mean?    I was writing to my grand niece accepting her invitation to her Hen's party and I wrote  'are you inviting an old chook to yuor Hen's Party nxet week? '  Susan it was the spelling - I never make mistakes like that...where my brain instructs my finger incorrectly  - It is automatic after years of practice, I know how to spell these words. And at work the other day, you wouldn't believe the conversation with Ginger - we were both trying to remember the name of the Australian actress -  you know the one who has done lots of movies and the tv series where her character has multi personalities.  She is so good!   I still can't recall her name...I will have to google it.  Her latest movie...it is just out and I read a good review only the day before...I just can't remember the title.

Well Kate, Ginger is 94 years old and you are not!  Stop panicking and jumping to conclusions. It is just too much information these days for the brain to handle and everyone is experiencing it.  Give your brain time to file things - it is just information overload...and maybe a little stress.

Yes..you are right Susan...I do want to see that other movie though...you know it won some awards at the Oscars and it has that other great actress...actually I think she won the award...it is a movie about her and her deterioration - but she is married - in the movie I mean.

I really want to see that - would you come along?  I will google that too - her name is Julianne Moore, I think - I will call you back with more information - that is, if you really want to see it.

Kate it is all getting a bit depressing and I am already feeling a little depressed...I don't really want to see it - it will remind me too much of Mum, you know it is a year now since her funeral.
