Until the next flight

Blue kite on a march morning

daddy helping me to hold the string tight.

winds blowing boldly clouds

smiling from the sky mama

waiting at home with apple pie.

daddy says lets wind the kite and string

up to be placed in a sack until the next flight.

sleeping yawning her heart came

alive with beats merging with her 

daughters in the heavenly sky

time the was all most over by

the son of man who gave us all

his very best from his heart

inside his spiritual chest 

Father I asked my spirit is getting tired

forgive me for asking I just want 

to go home and be with you 

the father of lights in heaven.

Daddy held my hand as we went

to the drugstore to get mama a gift.

He said don't tell your mama that this

gift is from me.

I did not tell her when we got home

but you should have seen the look

on mamas face. One of pure joy of 

love to my father.
