Fear Itself: A note from the author
Pantophobia is defined as the fear of everything. From spiders to sharp claws and fangs we instinctively know when our bodies are on the brink of death. What we fear is as vast as the human population. One may fear high places, another clowns. Even the darkness instills debilitating terror in the mightiest of champions, or more so what lies within it. Fear is an evolutionary tool we retain from our primordial days, and its purpose is to protect us from harm. Deep in our subconscious it lurks and waits to warn us of oncoming danger.
What evil, rotten, hellish horror must have ascended over our ancestors to make us fear so many things. For many it is better to push such thoughts from their minds, but for others, like yourself, it is a wonderful thrill. Just remember the next time you're walking down the street, and the hairs on the back of your neck begin to raise, make sure to check your surroundings. You never know just what your body is preparing you to face...
Section 1: Original Terrors
This first collection of stories is made up of stories that are completely made up by me. I wanted to include something that was uniquely a part of me, and the best way to do that was to write stories that weren't based on any other myth or legend already out there.
