The betrayal

Sincere! Wake up, the last thing we need this morning is to hear mama mouth. GET UP! Even though we’re both exhausted, them books wont open they selves we cant be late to our new  school. My name is Honesty Im the younger twin Sincere is the oldest. Being a twin has its pros and cons but like every set of twins we are two different people. However we look exactly the same, brown curly hair hazel eyes 100 pounds and we are 15 years old we live at home with our mom selene (she’s white our dad is black and if you can guess we are mixed) and our grandmother Clara. We didn’t always stay here in Chicago with our grandmother we recently moved because my mom cant keep a job to save her ass.

“Girls, get up its 530 time to get ready for your first day. “Im so tired of this shit”  said sincere, I rather be out making money, look what we have to wear I hope you ready to fight because we’re going to be the jokes at this school, “Shut up I replied but in my head I knew she was right. Mom couldn’t afford nice clothes so we had to make what we had work.. As we arrived at school we went to each others classes so we would know in case we needed to find one another then we parted ways. Im not going to lie, I was nervous but there was nothing else I could do so I walked into class and had a seat in the back. Kids started to roll into class I took a deep breath and before I could let it out I heard a loud ghetto ass voice “hey girl you new?” said some girl that decided to sit next to me. “ yeah” I replied and turned away. “What yo name is” she continued Honesty I replied. Okay I’m Kaylee your first friend she said as the bell ringed. As lunch approached I couldn’t wait to see Cere to hear about her day so far. I waited by the bathrooms until I seen Sincere then we got lunch and sat outside isolated from everyone else.” Bear I can not do this ratchet ass school with these ghetto ass bitches” said Sincere, bear was my nickname Cere called me because I’m the sweet side of her. Its not that bad I replied most of these girls probably wanna Bee’s, something we will never be. Even though me and Sincere bump heads a lot we know it gets no realer then us two, we our own friends. As it began to reach the end of the day I realized how happy I was to be going home. A loud ring went off, there was the bell. I started to walk towards the exit of the school were I seen some good looking chocolate dude just standing there staring me to death. I pretended I didn’t see but I will be looking for daddy tomorrow morning. Bear I heard from a distance and there was cere waiting to go home. We were still new to the neighborhood so we walked the front streets cause if y’all know like we do shit gets real in Chicago. “ damn I haven’t seen this many police since Jessie got killed Sincere said as we walked up to the house. “You bitch you told them how could you let them take me from my kids” screamed a voice that resembles our mom so we began to run to the scene. “ I’m sorry girls I am so sorry said mom . Mom what happen I cried why the police taking you!? They pushed us back my grandmother grabbed us and took us into the house to calm down. What the fuck is going on yo Cere replied. “ I don’t know how to tell you this but your mother was arrested for murdering her pimp. Her pimp honesty repeated so our mom was a hoe? Hey don’t talk about mom like that I screamed but in the inside all I felt was betrayal how could she lie to us , leave us, betray us.
