Canadian Universities have received tones of applications from American students since the unexpected win of President Trump back in November. Most students who don’t support Trump’s policies are attracted by Canada’s social liberty. Also, it’s not very far from home.

The University of Toronto reported a seventy percent increase in applications from American teens. Other universities have also reported notable increases in applications and traffic on their websites according to CBC news.

Why are Americans falling in love with Canada? First, the food is amazing. You’ll taste a wide range of flavors that you never thought existed. Secondly, you’ll be living in a land full of celebrities like Ryan and Drake. So, should you go to college in Canada? Here are a few points to consider.

You can get world class education

The Ivy League schools ae not as important as you think in Canada. You’ll hear people calling the University of Toronto “The Harvard in the North”. This does not mean that it’s at the same level with Harvard.

If you want to study in a leading university that is respected all over the world due to its excellence and experience, then Canada is the ideal country for you. You’ll be surprised to hear that McGill and the University of Toronto ranked higher than several Ivy League Schools in the Higher Education List. Most colleges in Canada are not very popular but the quality of education offered is amazing.

You’ll probably find the degree program of your choice

Most Americans spend their college years in Canada because they find what they’ve always wanted to study. For instance, if you want to write, you’ll find a writing service in Vancouver.
