CHAPTER TWO

She wake up feeling her eyelid heavy and stung every time she blink. She grimaced at the stung.

Why does my eyelid hurt? She asked to herself then stared at the water and her eyes widened in disbelief. So this is why my eyes were hurt she thought.

Her eyelids were full of bug bite from last night and she keep withering from them. She just sighed miserable and she just realized now that she never once leaves the palace so how she is going to survive this. She look around the forest. There are some rotten tree and some plant that were about to rot. There are also a decaying awful smell. She see a black river and it smell unpleasant too. She nibbled her bottom lip nervously. So where is she should go? She wonder and start heaving herself. She was walking when she felt her stomach growled. She stopped and glance around hoping to find some food. She smell another decaying smell like a dead rat and she wrinkled her nose in distaste. Where the hell is that smell from? She thought and start looking the source of smell.

When she found the source of smell she felt like her stomach churned in disgust. She saw a rotting human body, every part was cut and beside it was a skeleton and she felt a vomit rose from her gut. She vomited but nothing come out because of a week not eating anything.

She took a shaky breath and then immediately run away like a death was after her. Her felt her tear sprang through her cheek. She didn’t know whether she could survive it or died on this cursed forest. She didn’t like this.

She starting to get hungry and thirsty, not to mention she didn’t know how to survive in this forest.

She starting to regret ever escape from the palace, maybe she should let the witch kill her at least she will no longer be suffering this torment. She shudder at the thought.

No she thought fiercely she was not going to give up not especially when she come far this way. She took a deep breathes to calm herself. Then she starting to walk and hope she will never find any more eerie things. She stop when she felt something liquid in her panties and a pain. She tilted her hand her panties on her panties then froze when she saw a blood.

“Wha….what happening to me?” she managed stuttering.

She screamed out loud. She could already felt the panic rising to her chest. She didn’t know what happening and it didn’t help that it hurt. She sobbing a little. She screamed in fear when she saw more blood on her panties,

What happening to me? She asked herself terrified. Then she hear a snap and she tilted her hear like an insane people... she saw a sharp branch then she stabbed it when a shadow come out. It was a rabbit but she didn’t care as she continue to kill it and beheaded it head. Then laughed insanely, then keep swing the branch like a crazy people.

She froze when she saw the witch standing in her front. She took a step back, but the witch move faster as she held her arm tightly.

“No!!!” she screamed then she was shocked when she turn around and the witch was already gone.

I think I’m going to insane. She thought in fear. She continuously ran until she felt her body getting weak and then her bone suddenly crack making her shriek in pain.

“No! No! Please I won’t do it again please!” she loudly pleaded almost shouting like an insane. She was so consume by her memories and hallucination.

     She remember when she was 7 years old and she just watering the garden, she hear her little stomach growled and she nibbled her bottom lip nervously, it being 2 weeks since the evil witch was punished her because she accidently poured the water in the witch dress and it was her punished, starving her and making her work even more. She sighed miserable. She snapped her hear when she hear a crack she tilted her hear and saw a blondie boy with a lavender eyes making her eyes widened.

“Who are you?” she asked nervously and the little boy jumped little and he stared at the girl and he blushed when he look at the beautiful, attractive girl. He cleared his throat.

 “Uhm, I’m sorry for intruding I’m-“he didn’t finished the sentence when the witch called her name and she immediately rushed to witch because she be punished again if she didn’t come immediately.

      “What the hell are you going you little moron?! It already night and you still haven’t cook a dinner.” She demanded heatedly and she swallowed nervously and went to answer but the witch slapped her face so hard and she whimpered in pain and tear were threatening to fall but she didn’t let them.

She roughly leaded Snow to the artic and she picked a rope and whipped it through Snow back, Making Snow screamed in pain and writhed try to get away from the whip but to no avail. The witch keep whipping her until she felt her bone crack and she suffered 2 months before it healed.

Snow keep screaming like she was being whipped from the witch whip. She was breathing hard and keep throwing her arms to no body, like some invisible thing was trying to hurt her.

Lily was in her room and debating whether to torment the king and his queen. She want to find their daughter and make them watch as she slowly kill their daughter but she wasn’t that cold and cruel and she hate herself for it.

She suddenly remember an unwanted and cold memory, she was 7 years old and roaming around the forest. She still pissed from her parent conversion, they said that human were greedy, selfish and most cruel creature and she strongly against their word so they went into an argument.

Why they were so think badly of human? Are they really that cruel? She thought in confused and hurt. She sighed miserable and she went to picked up the apple when she hear a snap and she turned around and saw a most gorgeous boy she ever see in her life, those chestnut hair that seemed to attract her and those wide emerald eyes. She smiled warmly at the boy making the boy blushed.

“What are you doing in my forest?” she asked the boy.

“Nothing, it just I like your forest.” He said shyly and she blinked a few times then her smiled grew wider.

“Uh, do you want me to show you around?”  She asked excitedly and the boy instantly agree.

They went into the forest and she can still feel the overwhelming happiness that she felt because she proved that her parent were wrong, human were a good creature until those happiness filled with hollowness, hatred, and vengeance and bloodthirsty. She took a deep breath then she went out and roamed around her forest. She was slowly relax once she was in the forest, if there one thing that keep her at bay, it was the forest it was her last sanity and if she lose that again, she will surely kill everyone and that the last thing she want. She just keep roaming around and it making her exhausted because the memory keep coming back to her and she went go back when she hears a scream and she tilted her head and find the source of noise. She stopped in her track when she saw a young girl with her chestnut hair and her emerald eyes that look exactly like Arthur making her heart clenched and she took a sharp breath while watching the girl screaming, she used her power to calm the girl and the girl slowly stopped and she turned around to stare the witch making her eyes widen at horror. She took a step back and her body were trembling again. She want to run from the witch. Lily sensed the fear that were glinting over the girl’s eyes and she felt something inside her that want to help the girl and her mentally cursed herself for it.

“Who are you? And why are you here?” she asked and Snow swallowed nervously.

Lily saw the blood over the girl leg making her frown.

“Are you having a bleed?” she asked again making Snow frown in confusion.

Lily raised an eyebrow at her.

“Don’t you know what bleed is? How old ae you?”

Snow nibbled her bottom lip nervously.

“Ah, 14 years old.” She answer nervously and Lily frowned thoughtfully.  She stare at Snow.

“Are you live at the old palace?”

Making the girl eyes wide open and that all she know as she took a sharp breath and step back from the little girl as she afraid she might hurt her. Snow confused at the witch reaction, she tilted her head to stare at the witch.

“Ah, I think you need to leave.” She said and she felt like someone punched her stomach when she saw a panic glinting in the girl eyes.

“Plea- please don’t make me go back to the palace, please just keep me and I promise to do anything you said.” She desperately pleaded.

“Do you ever think that I might be worse than her?” Lily asked appeared baffled and she was surprised when the girl vigorously shook her head.

“No, I don’t know but there something about you that made me trust you.”

She paused at that and reluctantly nodded making Snow sighed in relief.

“But of course there a pay for that, you will be become my servant.”

Snow didn’t answer at first then nodded her head.

“Now, since I’m wandering this forest, why don’t you join me?” She asked the girl and snow just stare at her baffled.

“Did you wandering this forest?” she asked and Lily just smirked at her.

“Well, I make this forest cursed to those ever intrude this place.” She simply explained.

Snow stare at her in surprised.

“You the one who cursed this land?” she asked in shocked and the witch just nodded simply and that was for Snow to stop, she knew when someone doesn’t want something to talk.

They went roamed around the forest and Snow were starting to awe by the forest view and she smiled. The witch noticed the smiled form the girl and she tried not to smile at her. There’s something about her that so pure and innocent even she knew what kind of cruel and torment the girl were through by the evil witch and she surprised by a sudden quilt that were struck her heart. She hear a yelp and she turned around to see a rabbit sniffled around Snow bloody legs and Snow just ruffled the rabbit and smiled like a child. The thought made her heart clenched as she remember how the soldier of Arthur killed her child and she still want vengeance.

She took a shaky breath.

“I think you should take bath, there’s a river over there you can clean there.”

Making Snow looked at her.

“But I don’t have a clothes.”

“Don’t worry, I handle It.” she told her sternly making squirmed then she immediately go to the river.

While Snow was taking a bath, Lily used her power to clean the clothes and she hang it on the tree. She watched the girl played with water, she felt a smiled tugged at the corner on her lips. The kid seemed to be like the forest.

Snow was done taking a bath and she saw her clothes hanging on the tree and her expression were confused, shocked by the witch kindness. She saw the witch surrounding by the animals, the birds were tweeting happily, the rabbit was clanging at her feet, and she was surprised when she saw a genuine smile from the witch. The witch began to sing and she can’t help but listen to the most beautiful voice she ever hear. The song was suddenly stopped and it took her to realized the witch was watching her and she blushed by that.

The witch raised an eyebrow at her.

“You know it was bad to eavesdropping.” The witch said in a tone that she couldn’t comprehend, it was like a playful tone and it make her smiled.

“Sorry, I can’t help, I was so intrigued by your voice.” She admitted and the witch twitched like she was trying to smile but decided to not.

Instead she just keep petting the rabbit and her face became placid. Snow just keep nibbled her lips.

“What is bleed?” she decided to ask making the witch arc a brow at her.

“Well it too hard to explain since you too young to understand, it just mean that you are a women now.” She explained softly and Snow can’t help but keep asking.

“What does that mean? “She genuine confused by the statement and the witch can’t help but chuckled that make Snow blinked and stare at the witch.

“Sometimes, you understand.” She said coyly and Snow just sighed in defeated.

“Can I have a favor?”

The witch stare at her to go on.

“Can you sing for me? I really like your voice but you don’t have to do it since I was your servant.” She added quickly and the witch didn’t said anything. Just as she thought the witch were not going to sing then she hears the most pleasure and beautiful voice. She just closed her eyes and keep listening to the music.

However the music stopped when they hear a animalistic roar and the witch constantly adjourn her singing and immediately go to the source of sound. She knew when her animals were hurt and her forest.

  If they hurt my pleasure, they are going to hell she thought in furious and when they come to the source of sound, her vision went into red.

Snow shrank from the witch rage and hatred, she can see the hatred in her aura and in her eyes. She scared of the witch. She turned around to saw that the forest were completely destroyed. The tree were viciously cut and some dead animals were hanging around the tree and the reindeer were rancorous wounded. The animal just whimpered.

The witch immediately come to the reindeer and just petting while healing her. You can see the passionate and love in her eyes that held for the wounded animal. The witch loves the forest, she knew that by the way the witch watching the forest like some of treasure and it made her heart clenched and she surprised by the jealous that struck through her. She wanted to be love by that, to be held like she was like a pleasure. She just swallowed audibly. The witch didn’t said anything and that made her uneasy. She knew that the witch was angry so why she doesn’t shout at her or do something harmful to her and the thought made her step back and shuddered.

             The witch turned around and stare at her with full or rage and hatred that make her squirmed and took a step back but the witch move faster than her, the witch grabbed her throat and squeezed it painfully. Snow choked and begging the witch. The witch keep staring at her in rage. Tear were sauntering over her cheeks. Something snapped in the witch and she slowly released the girl. Snow coughed little and stare at the witch in fear.

The witch curled her lips.

“I hate you humans! “ She spat bitterly making Snow shrank away from her. “You destroyed my forest and hurt my animals, you shall be grateful that I did not kill you human.” She panting hard and she saw Snow cheeks were strained tainted.

  Snow just closed her eyes and wait in case the witch decide to kill her but it didn’t. She flew her eyes open and stare at the witch.

“Are you not going to kill?” she asked in confused but the witch didn’t said anything.

“We are going to home.” She said coldly, sending a chilling in her gut.

“Ah, but-“

“Just go!” the witch shouted at her and she instantly obeyed, not wanted to increase her angry.

Snow followed her through her house and then she roughly slammed the door making her cringe.

“Now, I want you to clean all the corner of this house and you will not rest until you done and shall I saw just a wedge of dust I will surely punish you, do you understand?” she demand heatedly and she can’t do nothing but to nod.

The witch left and Snow wince at the rage that swirling over the witch aura. She sighed miserable

This is going to be difficult. She thought in grimly.
