It’s a dark day today. I had just moved to Carlisle, Arkansas. It doesn’t help that I start school tomorrow. Both my parents are gone and always working. Most teenagers would be happy about that, but I’m not like most teenagers. I am too connected with my family and I can’t even get their support when I truly needed them. It isn’t their fault that they don’t know my… I guess you could call them secrets. Anyway I am starting in the second quarter of my senior year. There isn’t much to be excited about except me graduating in half a year and unpacking. So guess what I started doing? Unpacking. About two hours later, I brush off my yoga pants and red thin T-shirt, tossing my black hair out of my way just as the doorbell rings. Confused, I head downstairs and checks the window to see a well built guy with black hair, his back to me. I wonder to myself “Who is he? Maybe he is one of the neighbors?” I head over to the door and opens it to see brownish eyes with gold flecks. “Uh h-hello?” He chuckles and smirks at me. “Well hello. I’m your neighbor. I thought it would be nice for me to come by and welcome you to the neighborhood.” I smiles slightly, “Oh um hello….. I’m Layla……” He chuckles quietly to himself as if sharing a joke. “Ah… Well nice to meet you…. My name is Ash Lucian. Let me know if you need anything.” The guy smirks in a way as if flirting with me. “O Oh.. Um…. Thank you… Do you uh happen to know where the nearest library is around here?” Ash nods. “I do. But I’m busy.” I suddenly start getting a little nervous. “Oh… Sorry to disturb you then.. but could you tell me where it is at least?” “Hmm no. You can find it yourself.” Wow….didn’t think him to be a jerk. “Well fine. Have a good day Jerk.” I slam the door in his face and looks out the window. Seeing that he is still there, I see him chuckle and walk back next door and walks into the house. “So he lives next door…. Great… I hope he doesn’t go to the same school as me…. Despite that I’ll admit, he is cute….” After that, slowly relaxing, I head to the kitchen to make myself dinner. Afterwards, I was so exhausted that I went into my room and passed out, after checking all the doors and windows, making sure they are locked.

Wow I had to admit, my new neighbor is hot. She isn’t like most of the girls that lust after me. It was kind of sexy the way she just slammed the door in my face and called me a jerk. She’ll be fun to go after, and she has beautiful ice violet eyes. They looked like they had secrets trapped inside. As I head to my room, I check my phone for any emails from my “work.” I check for my next client, only to get a summons from my very own father. I almost forgot, He’s the demon king, which makes me, you guessed right, the demon prince. There are actually different types of demons for different power levels and sins. You might have guessed by now, but my father, Lucifer and I are lust demons. Anyway I realized that I’m getting summoned by my father and heads out to the portal in my backyard, but not before looking through my neighbor’s bedroom window and seeing her start to take off her clothes. Don’t judge, I am a lust demon for a reason. What do you expect? Once I step through the portal, I see my father’s dark medieval castle. With some torches in the dark halls as I head to the throne room. Seeing my father in his throne with the usual demon females around him. Like father like son. “Ah there you are! There is my Horrid son!” Looking at him suspiciously I say,”What do you want father? You rarely address me as such.” He chuckles as he pushes back his redish black hair and looks at me with his soulless red eyes. “What if I merely wanted to say hi?” Rolling my eyes I respond, “You never summon me unless you want something. Now what is it you want? Do you have a task for me.” Lucifer nods slowly, “You’re aware of the most wanted object of all the species, right? The one where whoever has them, will be the most powerful species of the war.” I nod slowly, waiting for his point. “Well we have in fact located who it is. We thought it would be a male but it is actually a human female. I figured you’d have no problem seducing her and bringing her here.” I nod, “Who is she father? I can go get her now.” He starts laughing, confusing me. “Ah son I don’t think she will be easy. Her name is Layla Daemons. I located her already in that human town of yours that you love to live in.” Now I’m really confused when he says it’s in my town. “Wait what? How have I not sensed it before though?” He shrugged “Maybe a new person to town? I don’t know and I don’t care! Now go get the girl. I’ll give you one week. You’d better have her here by then.” I nod slowly, bowing before I leave through the portal. I wonder who exactly if it is that new girl. Her first name is Layla but I haven't heard of the last name, Daemons, before.... Wait, It couldn’t possibly be her… right?
