You know my name but not my story that hinds within me,

You know how I look but will never understand what you just can't see,

I may seem like a person that knows what he is doing at times,

But I had no idea I would come up with this poem and rhymes,

I am cast david the person who not only tries to live but tries to make a living for the best,

I am cast david and I am not saying that I am better than all the rest,

My goal is to be better than what I was before,

Because I hate waking up sometimes and not knowing what I am fighting for,

I felt lost for quite a while,

I was always down and never wanted to smile,

In the past; people would tell me that I was shit,

It got to a point where I just wanted to quit,

I would listen; while I would get my ass beat,

And I never thought my full potential I would ever get the chance to meet,

I never thought I would be the person I am today,

All because I decided to stop living; not my life; but their way,

I build the courage to stand for myself because no one else will,

The pain was insane but it wasn't the pain that you can cure with a simple pill,

It was beyond measures and I never thought I would get out fine,

But once I did; my life I started to redesign,

The best part was that I came out alive,

And that I was one of the few that got the opportunity to survive,

That is why I write and love to share, 

Because I want to save life's and show people that there is people out there that simply care,

And for those that hear me out today,

Let's take the time to thank god for giving us another day,

If you ever go through what I went through know that you can cry and scream,

But do me a favor and don't you ever give up on your dream.
