Quick note

Hello readers, this is the first book I’m working on. It’s a realistic fiction story that I hope you will enjoy. I’m into writing but I’m not to good at making up the stories so if you guys could give me some feedback that would be great. Thank you so much and I hope you enjoy the story.

The First Kiss

Walking out of chorus I hear Dylan joking around with his friends while they exit the gym. I go to my locker and grab the books I need for my next class. I open my locker and feel familiar hands cover my eyes

“Guess who,” a soft voice says behind me.

“Dylan move your hands I’m finding my books,” I say in a sassy way. He moves his hands and I turn to face him.

“Do you always focus on school?” He asks.

“I try not to get tangled into drama so yes I focus on school,”

He knows how I feel about my grades, I’m not uptight about them but if they slip I work my ass off to get them back up. He smiles at me and moves a strand of hair out of my face. I roll my eyes at his attempt to be sweet. I smile. His eyes are so easy to get lost in. Then the sound of the bell makes me flinch back to reality.

“We better get to class,” I say holding out my hand.

“Fine,” he says smiling as he takes my hand. We start to get closer to the classroom door and he walks faster slightly pulling me and goes right past the door.

“Dylan that was our class,” I say turning my head to look back at the door.

“Oh was it I didn’t realize,” he says as a sly grin appears on his face.

“Where are we going?” I ask him.

“Somewhere,” he says as to leave me in suspense.

I stop walking and let go of his hand.

“Dylan, come on we’re going to be late for class, please let’s just go back,”

He looks at me sadly and starts walking back towards me.

“Ok let’s head back babygirl,” He takes my hand again and we start heading back towards our class.

“Dylan?” I say trying to break the silence.

“What?”

“Where were you taking me?”

“Just... away” he says looking at the ground as we walk.

“Why?” I look at him.

He stops walking, but he doesn’t drop my hand. He pulls me close to him, hugging me. I wrap my arms around him.

“I wanted to spend a little time, just us” he says in a low, sad voice. Just before letting me go he kisses my cheek and smiles as he sees I’m blushing, he’s never kissed me before. I lean into him and gently press my lips against his, while hoping I’m not a bad kisser. We break apart and our hands rejoin for the rest of the walk back to class.
