"Ugh! This kitten won't pee in its box!" "Why don't we get rid of it?" The man and woman walked down the street and threw that tiny cat into the alley way. The next day. Jade was walking down the sidewalk when a tiny cat came up to her. "Hey little- oh no." Jade looked at its foot but, there was no foot. Just a nub. Jade wrapped up the kitten in her white scarf that was now red and muddy. She brought it to her art studio and got a towel for the cat to lay on by the fireplace. Then, she got food and water for the kitten. And as carefully as she could. She sewed up the kittens leg. I'll name you hope. Jade said. She looked into its emerald green eyes and said "you will always be mine and I will love you and your three and a half legs." Tuesday the2nd. Jade had finished it. It was two velcro straps made of old canvas and a round piece of wood wrapped in silk. It was a fake foot for the cat. And as she grew into a beautiful main coon cat she was loved always even her wooden foot.
