Have  you ever wondered if there are living creatures on  other planets?

Well there is other living creatures on a planet called Capa. There lives a clan called the Sky Noks, they're not the kind of creature that would make you hide under your bed. They live on a red hot lava planet. They were as normal as we are on Earth until a great evil came an evil called The Evil Is Us.

The Evil Is Us is a clan that comes to your planet to take over. They might kill you or keep you held captive. When they came to Capa to take over their planet many people died and some were held captive but one girl escaped when she was only five years old.

Her mom told her to take one of their ships and go. She did what her mom said, her mom started the ship for her and off she went to find somewhere to go that was safe. She looked and looked and she has found no place that is safe for her to stay. She is still looking to this day.

      It was just my birthday two days ago, it's August 20th, Wednesday, my brother's birthday was on July 28th  he turned 16, I turned 15.

My mom and dad are now fighting because my mom is so sick of my dads side of the family." They don't appreciate me like my side of the family does yells my mom to my dad.”

"You just got to give them a chance.”

"We have been together for 20 years and when we got married your family didn't have the heart or the  decency to accept me as a family member. I don't have anything in common with them, what am I supposed to talk to them about when they come over, they never have anything nice to say about me and my side of the family.”

" Why do you always blame them for how you are feeling, don't put this crap on me its just how you feel when you are with my family. I know they don't appreciate you like I do. They're not a loving family, I love you deeply though, I don't want my side of the family to ruin everything. I don't want anything to happen between you and me I still love you. You know I tried everything to get them to except you.”

"I don't want this to go on forever when we go to your mom's house its always going to feel awkward, I don't think that I like what is happening. I just don't think I can be around your family anymore if this is how it's always going to be. I love you but I can't love your family. I don't know what I'm want to do about it but I can't stay here, its just too painful, I can’t be with your family for the holidays or your birthday .

"Does this mean you want a divorce.”

" Mom don't do this, don't do this to us now. I don't want to be away from you.”

" Sis just stay out of it. It's grown-up business you're never going to understand it until you get married so just stay out of their conversation.”

" No I can't, I don't want to lose mom because of dads side of the family. I just cannot have this happen to me after my birthday and yours too. You just don’t feel the same way I do" . I really don't want to be sad right now, I run to the couch and sit down, put my face into my hands and start to cry.”

" I do feel the same way you do" says my brother.

"Sometimes marriages don't have a happy endings" mom says. Don't worry, it's not like you're not going to see me anymore, I'm just not going to be hang around your father anymore okay as my mom puts her hand on my back rubbing it trying to make me feel better but it doesn't make me feel any better but what she said makes me feel a little better.”

"You can come visit me whenever you want and stay over for a while if it's okay with your father.”

"Please Papa please" I'm begging him to say yes.

"Okay, well I don't see anything wrong with that.”

"Thank you so much Papa.”

Shortly after that day they got a divorce, my mom is now living in the city closer to her job, she's living in an apartment by herself.

My dad is now being a lazy bum and is having a hard time with it, he has no job, we're trying to get him to get one but he just sits in a chair feeling sorry for himself. My brother and I can’t even have a fight because we don't want to give my dad a hard time.

After three weeks mom was finally settled in to the new apartment. Ricky and I were able to stay for the weekend.

On Saturday night mom took us to see Godzilla the movie under the stars, which gives a different point of view about Godzilla. Not only did I think he was bad, I thought he was a monster coming after the humans in the beginning of the movie. As it turns out Godzilla was a hero to the humans in the movie which was pretty cool. Then we got ice cream after the movie  it was 10:50 and dark, I got rainbow sherbet, my mom got cookies and cream, and my brother daiquiri ice, we all got two scoops in a waffle cone. We saw the lights of the parliament buildings and laughed and had fun it was a great night. When we got home there was a someone sitting and watching tv.” Mom who is this person in your apartment.”

“What are you talking about  there is no one in here except you, your brother, and me.”

“Mom just come into the living room, now!”

“Who are you and what are you doing in my moms apartment stranger.”

“No,no,no, it’s okay your mom knows me" said the stranger.

“Okay Austin what the hell are you doing in my apartment why didn't you tell me you were going to be here.”

“I’m sorry for not telling you but I wanted it to be a surprise, just go to the kitchen table.”

Mom walked to the table and on it there were three lit candles and a nice dinner on the table.

“I did try to call you, four times, but you didn’t answer so I found your spare key to the door.” “Ah thank you so much for this lovely dinner, I’m sorry I missed your call Austin.” Mom goes to hug him and gives him a kiss on the lips making me feel awkward I think Ricky feels the same. Ricky fakes a cough and says "mum.”

“I’m sorry these are my two kids that I’ve been telling you about. This is Ricky my 16 teen year old son and this is Sky my 15 teen year old daughter, this is my boyfriend Austin.”

“Hello.”

“Hi Austin!” I give Ricky a nudge, hoping he'll be polite.

“Hi Ricky, Sky, its nice to finally meet you, your mom has told me lots about you. She can't stop talking about you guys.”

“Nice to meet you too” I said.

“And me too" said Ricky

“is there something wrong did I do something.”asks Austin

“No,you haven't done anything wrong” I said in a confident voice like a detective on a mystery show or movie.

“Okay mom, I'm going to leave you guys too it.”

Wait where are you going. You don’t have to let Austin stop you from hanging out with me.

“Austin is not stopping me it’s just I’m tired thats all.”

“You can go to bed when the four of us have done some dancing I know how you like to dance. “

“’Okay come on brother if I want to go to bed we have to do some dancing.” "I really don’t know if I want to do any dancing.”

“Don’t let Ricky bring your down. He is just not used to dancing with a stranger watching him.

“It’s okay. Once he sees me dance he will be impressed.”

The song Anime by maroon5 started to play and Austin started to dance hip-hop, he was so good he impressed me. As he was dancing he was explaining what the moves were that he was doing, like The Troop.The Troop was awesome, it was almost like a stationary running man, but you could also move forward with it as well …it even had a group named after the dance, remember the sneakers and the track suits and Jean Jackets? The LL cool troops and the The Heavy D Shake. The Heavy D Shake was dope because Heavy D was actually dancing … big men weren't getting into it like that back in the day, now the Fat Boys had their dance but it was very stationary Heavy D and The Boys (G-Wiz, Trouble T, and Eddie F) would get the shake in … as seen in the beginning of the “We got our own thing” video and lets not forget the Fila. The Fila was a mix of the Cabbage Patch and something else.. it was side to side with a dip very dope and underrated.

I looked over at Ricky and Ricky seemed pretty interested in what he was doing.

“Those moves are cool Austin" I said.

“why don't you show me what you can do Sky.”

“ well I'll try if Ricky does".

“I'll give it a try” said Ricky. He was already doing something with his arms and legs, I was able to keep up to him until he did a backflip.

“Wow. Where did you learn that Ricky" asked mom.

“Well it just came to me and I was lucky enough to land it, that was fun.

After we were done dancin Austin stopped the music and he and Ricky started talking about when he first started hip hop dancing, he was only five years old, wow and now he's like 35 years old  I'm impressed and I think Ricky is too. Someone that age hip-hop dancing not something  my dad would ever do but Austin is a lot different than my dad. He's not really into dancing like Austin is but that's okay everybody's different and he has other interests.

         "Okay I'm off to bed Ricky don't wake me up please, it's nice meeting you, you are a really cool dancer."

    "Thanks. It was nice meeting Katie's family."

Moms apartment building only has two bedrooms, mom has one room, Ricky and I have to share the another room. I put a note on the door saying I'm getting changed and if he comes in he will get a beating so bad that he doesn't want to even think about it.

    I get into bed and put my head on the pillow, i can barely keep my eyes open, Its hard to imagine a more eventful, exciting day.
