POEMS
ONE SORRY MAN
One sorry man all alone
What I am
Looking back I did my best
I guess I don’t know
I have some regrets
I guess we all do
But you play the cards
You’re dealt
What life gives you
You have to deal
With it
I guess I lost some
But then again
I won some also
It does not bother me
I’m content
To be a sorry man
All alone
I'LL ALWAYS REGRET THAT
I guess I’ll always regret that
I don’t know why I did that
It’s destroyed my life forever
I’ll never be what I once was
Which wasn’t much to begin
But I’ll always regret that
Looking back i can’t remember
Why i did that
I thought I really loved her
I really did
Something told me
Not to walk out that door
But I did anyway
And I’ll always regret that
OH WHAT A NIGHT
Oh what a night it was
To remember
To have to forget
For quite awhile
We felt it coming
Call it magic
Call it infatuation
Call it what you will
But there we were
In a secluded hide
A way and oh what
Love we made
What a night it was
To have to forget
He’s my best friend
He must never find out
And she is yours
So we have to keep it hide
But oh what a night
To remember to have
To forget
