This story is about a young boy who lived in the country side and he enjoys to explore a long his journeys he met a special friend called Dave.

Dave-The Purple Dragon

Once upon a time on a country road lived a young boy called James. Everyday James would travel off to the woods exploring. 

One day, he travelled to the top of the mountains where a load rustling noise came from the bushes. James shouted "Who's there!!!" No one replied.

James carried on his journey on the mountains and he then heard a louder rustling noise from the trees. He could not see anything so he Shouted "Who's there! Come Out! Don't Be Afraid" a voice replied back "I'm not afraid, I just don't want to scare you" 

"Oh you won't scare me" said James.

He then appeared from the bushes and trees. James shouted fearlessly "You're a dragon!" 

"Yes, I'm dave the dragon! What's your name" replied Dave.

"I'm James I live on the other side of the woods" James said.

"What brings to the woods" said Dave

"I love to come here to explore, what brings you here dave I've never seen you here before" replied James.

"I run away! The hunters took my family I was the only one who got free" said the dragon.

"I'll look after you and keep you safe" replied James.

And off they went back to the country road where James lives.  

James opens his barn and says to the dragon "you can sleep in the barn"

Dave the dragon says kindly "I'm ever so thankful, what am I to eat"

James went off to get the dragon some tasty snacks which left the dragon very happy.
