Prologue

Cold. Nothing. Alone. Empty. Those are just some of the words that describe death.

Cold. As you die, your body turns blue. Blue symbolizes cold, much like when ocean water freezes over.

Nothing. This is what you feel when you die. In fact, it's what you are when you die. Nothing. You're nothing but a body and skeleton. Eventually, after you die, both decay into nothing but dust and dirt, just left to be blown around by the wind. The wind doesn't care about you. The wind doesn't care that you were once a person.

Alone. This is how you feel when you die. You feel as if no one is there to help you. That's the thing about death. It gives you a warm welcome before you realize you're alone and there's no getting out.

Empty. This is what your mind is when you die. Your mind lets go of all of your thoughts, replaying them all in an instant before your body becomes nothing but a skeleton, which, as stated before, turns to nothing but dirt and dust left to be blown around in the wind, or put underground in a casket, never to be seen again.

The Waving Man loves all four of these adjectives.

He longs for you to embody these four adjectives.

He waits for you. He waits for you to fully embrace him and be with him, together forever. The Waving Man is a devil, in every sense of the word. His cold touch chills you to the bone, and his terrifying figure makes you wish you weren't able to see. The Waving Man is, in every sense, evil, cold, heartless...

And he wants you as his next victim.
