The Danse Macabre
Red Lips
Thin red lips stretched in a smile
Frowning brows upon upon eyes so dead
Ruby lips form a smile, thin red lines in the night
A shadow of a smile, red lips and pearls
A checkered floor of glass and gold
She stands alone ‘tween pillars of old
The Eye watches, a Sword in its wake
To pierce the oval in the space it takes
Before two pillars holding up the skies
A gateway to the pyramid where evil men lie
Baptized in black oil, she calls to it
A three way prison where black blood boils
A woman smeared in unholy oil
The gateway to eternity to power and wealth
Sell your soul only if it’s worth the price
Make the call the bargain is struck
To stand tall against the rain
Make the call the bargain is struck!
Pride, fame, fortune and all of fate
Theirs for the taking our lives for the World
A secret lives in our minds
Through a tunnel we see the world
We are blocked from the shadow that looms
They hide in the open and spin the tales
Subverting our minds through poetry in flesh
Poetry in verse and poetry in motion
When the hammer falls and the bell rings true
All we know will turn to gloom
The world will fall and Man will die
Except those that live to be ruled
