A Poem For Her
As I stare at her, I contemplate life
Standing in front of me is my future wife
With hair so blonde and figure so thin
I don't want her to lose her pale white skin
She gives me butterflies and feelings so warm
It didn't take long for chemistry to form
Her beauty is noticeable above the rest
She likes me, but I think why the interest?
I was not well off and bought up rough
She was the opposite and had it not so tough
We were completely opposite and that's a fact
But they do say that opposites attract
I want her to know my life is complete
And with her by my side I will never cheat
Everyday she will get breakfast in bed
And if she ever left, from my heart love will be bled
I hope for the rest of time she will be with me
And give her a chance to make her see
I'm so in love, and want my feelings heard
Which is why I wrote this poem just for her
