HIGH SCHOOL . . . ito ay nangyayari sa sinuman at sa 4 na taong ito maraming paraan para mahati-hati ang bawat isa sa atin: ATHLETES, DRAMA QUEENS, MISFITS, JOKERS, NERDS, CHEATERS pero bago matapos ang apat na taong ito isang gabi ang magiging tulay upang magkasama-sama ang lahat . . . PROM. Isang gabi na walang pakielam kung ano man ang magiging itsura nila sa kani-kanilang mga magagara at eleganteng kasuotan. Isang gabi na maaari mong Makita ang iyong sarili na halos kumakanta ng tila hindi na matatapos ang gabi kasabay ang mga taong hindi mo naman masyadong nakakasama. Gabi na kung saan ang mga cute guys ay gagawa na ng kani-kanilang mga ninja moves para imbitahan ang kanilang mga napupusuan sa espesyal na gabing ito. Proms are night and everyone of us want this to be unforgettable kung kaya naman heto ako’t ginagawa ang lahat nga makakaya ko sa buong semester to make it perfect for me and for all the seniors of Hogwarts High!

STACY SUMMER ( The True Believer)

“ The Starry Night is going to be Hogwarts’ High best unforgettable night ever. “

The straight‐A student and head of the Prom Committee who makes it all look so easy—possibly because she is a

perfectionist who pays obsessive attention to detail in everything she

does. Stacy  is a born pleaser and rule abider who loves her family and

wants them to be proud of her. She is passionate about every project

she undertakes…but just can’t seem to see beauty in imperfection.

GILBERT FLORENTINO ( The Outsider )

Gilbert is fiercely independent and lives by his own rules. His

hardened exterior and “bad‐boy” persona give him a definite anti‐

establishment vibe. Working to help his mother support the family

eats up his free time, so making friends and participating in high

school activities, especially Prom, are way down on his list. Jesse is a

teen trapped in an adult life—what or who will it take to bust him

out?

for Lizetter. Josh doggedly persists in his attempts to get Lizette’s

attention, often enlisting Christian’s help, but he lacks the inner

confidence to express how he feels.

her nose into everybody else’s business, especially Harry’s.

comedic character, Aaron is looking hard for a prom date after he

realizes he’s never asked a girl to do…well, anything, and now high

school is coming to an end. Motivated by the fact that his time is

running out and he’s left no legacy, Aaron turns into an unstoppable

romantic with a repertoire of funny antics. Putting all his game into

play for an all‐out prom‐date blitz, Lloyd hopes to wind up with a girl…any girl.

IVANA SCOTT ( Aaron’s Biggest Fan )

endeavor to ask a girl to the big event, she also isn’t shy about

pointing out which of his tactics appear overly desperate and lame.

And Ivana is not about to let Aaron blow off prom because he comes

up dateless—she has an awesome contingency plan.

“ Hello there, Gail! “ – Stacy

Halos 3 linggo nalang at darating na ang gabing aming pinaghahandaan, in fact almost everything has been planned. Ang gabing magbibigay ng napakasaya at nakapa unforgettable experience sa buong Hogwarts High. Meet Stacy, . . . Ang president ng klase at ang prom head-committee. An A-type student, pretty, responsible and hardworking girl.  Siya ang naatasan ng kanilang principal na si Mrs. Sherry Anne Cabras upang paghandaan ang nalalapit nilang Prom Night. Kaya naman itong si Stacy ay lubos na  ginagawa ang lahat ng kanyang dapat gawin bilang paghahanda sa mga kakailnganing materyales maging sa mga konsepto sa nasabing event.

“Has he ask you yet?”, tanong ng kaniyang kaibigan na si Audrey na biglaang lumitaw habang siya’y nagdidikit ng mga posters ng kanilang prom event.

“Hindi pa nga eh.” malungkot na sagot ni Stacy habang patuloy sa pagkakabit ng mga posters.

“Ayos lang yan. For sure yayayain ka din niya. Trust me you’ve been together since kindergarten kaya sigurado ako doon.” Lakas loob na sagot ni Audrey

“ Has he ask you yet? “kasabay ng tanong na ito ang biglaang pagsulpot ni Aiko, isa din sa bestfriend ni Stacy. Umiling naman si Audrey kay Aiko bilang pagsagot sa tanong nito.

“ Well, for sure he will!” matapang na pagsisiugrado nit okay Stacy

“He never wants me to move “, ani ni Stacy

“ He is Clifford, he’s shy. Why don’t you ask him?”

“Maybe his not interested on me.” panghihina ng loob na sagot ni Stacy sa kanyang dalawang kaibigan.

At habang patuloy na nag uusap ang tatlong magkakaibigan ay kasabay naman nito ang pagdating ni Clifford  mula sa Physics class nito na siyang pinaguusapan ng taltong magkakaibigan.

“ Here he comes! “ – kinikilig na wika ni Audrey

“Hey Stacy” – sigaw na tawag ni Clifford habang pababa sa hagdanan. Napatingin naman itong si Stacy sa pinagmumulan ng boses na iyo. Lubusan nang umalis sina Audrey at Aiko samantqalang naiwan siyang nagaayos ng kaniyang sarili bago humarap sa lalaking itinuturing niyang special guy.

“Wow! Napakaganda naman!” pagpupuri nitong si Clifford. Agad naming napatingin itong si Stacy na halos abot tenga ang mga ngiti sa kanyang mukha matapos margining ang mga katagang iyon.

“Clifford! Thanks!” – ubod na saying sagot ni Stacy na may ngiti parin sa mga labi niya.

“Posters are great. Good job!”

Pilit namang napangiti si Stacy sa kanyang pagsagot na “ Yeah .. “ akala kasi nito ay siya ang sinabihan na maganda. Maagang siyang nag assume kaya naman, heto’t disappointed siya. Bigla namang kumuha si Clifford ng mga posters sa natitirang hawak ni Stacy at tuluyan nang umalis. Sa kabilang banda, Patuloy parin ang panunuyo ni Ivana sa kanyang kapatid na si Aaron upang  dumalo sa nasabing papalapit na prom night.

“ You know Aaron, you could go.” Pagpupumilit na wika ni Ivana sa kapatid nito.

“No, thank you! Prom is like the Olympics of high school. You wait four years, three people have a good time and everybody else live needs to live of their shattered dreams.” sagot ni Aaron

“ Come on, Aaron! Wag mong paandarin ang pagiging takot mo na ireject ng mga girls. It just a prom. Ask somebody and be creative. This is your last chance to make everyone remember you. ”

Patuloy parin sa pagkakabit ng mga posters itong si Stacy sa mga lockers. Habang nagdidikit ay hindi nito napansin si Trixie, one of the popular girl in Hogwarts High at kasintahan ni Xavier.

“Wow! Stacy that makes awesome.” Ngiting pagpupuri nito sa poster na dinikit ni Stacy malapit sa locker na kanyang kinatatayuan.

“ Thanks! Make you and Xavier already talk about this? We will crown the Prom King and Queen at 9:35 in the evening.” Sagot ni Stacy.

Kasabay ng pag-alis ni Stacy ay siya namang pagdating nitong si Xavier, the most popular, charismatic, good looking guy and captain of Latrix team and he was adored by all. But looks can be deceiving. Paaano? Abangan!

“ Hey my queen “ – pasigaw na tawag nit okay Trixie habang nakikipag apir sa mga nadadaanan nitong mga estudyanteng humahanga sakanya.

“ So, I saw the posters and I think about you and the party bus.”

“Uhmm. Xavier, can we talk?”

Ito namang magbestfriend na sila Josh at Christian ay patuloy ang masayang diskusyon tungkol sa iba’t-ibang banda dala narin ng kanilang pagkahilig sa musika habang patungo sa kanilang mga lockers. Napatingin naman si Christian sa direksyon na kung saan ay nagkukumpulan ang 3 babae na kinabibilangan ni Lizette, the girl next-door, beautiful, friendly and accessible, na tila malalim ang iniisip sa pagkakapako ng kanyang mga mata sa poster ng prom. Agad din namang napalingon si Josh at sinilayan ang mala-angel na mukha ni Lizette.

“ Josh, you got to ask her out! “ – Christian

“ Dude, you’re crazy. She don’t want to go out with me. I have nothing to offer like car, no cool parties, no prom!” – Josh

Halos walang pagod paring nag kakabit ng mga posters itong si Stacy. Hanggang out of  no where ay nagkatagpo ang landas nila ng outsider na si Gilbert,is fiercely independent and lives by his own rules. His hardened exterior and “bad‐boy” persona give him a definite anti‐establishment vibe.  Nagdikit ng isang poster si Stacy sa katabing locker ni Gilbert na siya namang nagging dahilan upang lumapit ang isang grupo ng mga babae na tila walang paglagyan ang kanilang pananabik sa paparating na event na siya ring nagresulta upang makuha ang atensyon ni Gilbert na noon ay kararating lang at nagaayos ng kaniyang bag at gamit upang ilagay ang mga ito sa locker. Mabilis naman nitong tinungo ang katabihg poster at tinanggal ito sa pagkakadikit at agad inilipat sa katapat nitong lockers. Manilis rin lumipat ang mga girls sa bagong pinaglagyan ng poster.  Biglaan naman napatingin si Stacy sa pinanggagalingan ng ingay at nakita niya ang ginawang ito ni Gilbert at bago ito tuluyang umalis sa lugar ay nanlisik at inikot nito ang mga mata na senyales ng pagkainis o pagkairita.
