Sophie, a young girl, age 8, looking out of her living room window. The nice morning Sky had a few light gray dots in it followed by luminous orange lights coming from the back of the dots. The dots were coming down fast. Sophie called for her mom who was brushing her hair in the upstairs bathroom. The mother, Alice, came down the creaky wooden steps at a fast pace to see what her young beloved child needed."Look at the gray dots in the sky mama", said Sophie.Alice looked out the living room window. The gray dots were really close to touching the ground. "Here Sophie get away from the window. Let's go sit on the couch." Alice sits Sophie on the couch while she gets on her phone. Boom Boom Boom! The ground shook and the phone was dead. Sophie started getting worried about what was going on. Alice told Sophie to go outside she'd be out in a minute. Sophie waited patiently on the porch. A car pulled into their driveway. It was Sophie's dad Don. Don got out of the car and picked up Sophie. Sophie was put in the backseat. Don went inside and yelled for Alice to hurry and get in the car. Sophie looked out her window and saw her best friend crying. Sophie got out and went over to check on her. "Are you ok,"asked Sophie. Sophie's best friend was named Rose and she was shy."No my dad was killed, my mom got a call about it. His workplace was hit by a meteor. The meteors were falling everywhere. Sophie heard a car so she turned around and saw her parents driving off in the distance. They didn't know that Sophie got out of the car and that she wasn't under that pink blanket in the backseat anymore. Rose looked up at Sophie and yelled,"Look behind you!

 Sophie whirled around and looked up. Part of the sky was dark blue but the sky above them was cyan. The dark blue part looked like it was moving toward them slowly. Sophie and Rose stood up. "There's a telescope in my room and we can look at it,"suggested Rose. They both rushed into the house and dashed up the stairs. Rose opened her room door and they went in. They got next to the telescope and looked in at the dark blue patch of sky. It was closer to them than it was before. It wasn't the sky it was a tsunami. The kids freaked out and went downstairs to where they went to find Rose's mother. She was lying on the floor and a glass pitcher was shattered on the ground next to her. She had been hit in the head and killed. Rose burst out crying. The mother opened her eyes and started getting up. She jumped at Sophie and tried to bite her. Sophie pushed her away and the kids ran out of the house screaming. The blue patch was lower and very close. They could here screaming and splashing. They ran into a neighbors house and locked the door. The tsunami hit the neighborhood and hit the house sending it zooming down the hill. Rose hit her head on the wall of the kitchen. Water was coming into the house. Sophie went to Rose but she was out cold. Sophie picked up Rose and took her upstairs and put her in the bed. The house fell apart right then Roses bed fell out of the hole in the upstairs bedroom wall. Sophie fell out the hole to but fell on a car shooting pain up her back. She then was washed down the road right beside of people that didn't make it. She then couldn't see anything. 

 Sophie was awakened by a soft voice of a male. She sat up and looked at her surroundings. "Hello, my name is tre and welcome to the surviving tower. 22 stories of people we have rescued from what is beyond the gates. Undead, a flood, and big fires caused by the meteors. Sophie asked if  another girl had been rescued too. "Yes, she said her name was Rose but she has some bad injuries. Her arm was torn off by the undead but we removed her arm in times so she wouldn't turn. But it could have got an infection on the way to the tower. Sophie held back tears and Tre gave her a plate of breakfast: eggs, bacon, and toast. Tre then got up and said,"go ahead and eat but get some more sleep before I give you a tour of the tower. Sophie saw she had a tv in her room. She reached for a remote that was on the table beside her. She turned it to the news channel. Then she picked up her plate of breakfast. The tv surprisingly worked. The news talked about a virus going around to the dead and making them wake up and eat others. Sophie turned off the tv. She was sick to her stomach. She then thought about how her parents were probably long gone. Eating others without a care in the world. Sophie felt a tear go down her cheek. She finished off her breakfast and set the plate on table beside her. She then saw her cell phone on the table. The one she had in her pocket at her house but forgot about it. Sophie went on to her messages app and messaged her mom. 

     Mom are you there I'm ok

I'm at a tower and I don't know where it's at. People are taking care of me though. If u read this tell me where u r at. Maybe we can meet again.😀😀
