Chapter 1

   Every day, she walks barefoot to the forest to collect water. There's nothing unusual about the forest, or the well in which she collects the water from. The forest is like any other, perhaps even plainer. The well is ancient. Nothing more to it. There's no history behind it...or is there?

One day, she carries her bucket to the forest, only to find a boy sitting on the well, looking haughty as ever.

“Excuse me,” she calls out.

“What?” The boy calls back.

“Would you move?” She asks.

“You need the water?” The boy says.

“Oh, yes,” she nods, “please move.”

“There's no water left.” The boy tells her crossly. “Maybe because of you! Now we will all be thirsty.”

She frowns. “What! Is it true?”

The boy points into the well, “See for yourself. Why would I lie? I'm one hundred percent honest.”

Yes, the water is gone. Completely.

She sighs. “What am I to do?”

The boy shrugs. “What's your name? We ought to start with introductions first, shall we?”

She sighs again. “Rita.”

The boy nods; “I'm Tom.”

Rita looks around. “I haven't seen you before, Tom. Are you from a village nearby?”

Tom shakes his head. “I'm a Travel.”

Rita nods. “Oh, that makes sense.”

The two stand there for a moment.

Tom scratches his head. “Uh...”

Rita smiles, waves, and disappears.

~~~~~~
The next day the well flows with fresh water, and nobody's seen Rita since then. Rumors say that she moved away, some say it's because that she doesn't want to waste the well's water, but most say, Rita was an illusion
