Snake Songs of Cassandra: Book One

These are the Songs of Cassandra. They drifted up from the ground and into my dreams. Snakes sung them into Her ear. Cassandra charged me to disseminate her wisdom. In her life this prophetess she spoke truths that fell on deaf ears. Hopefully this new eon will be kinder to her truths. Take them as you will. These words are for the unsung shadows of your soul.

GENESIS

Γένεση

This is the first stage of the songs. The songs and symbols are one, they are all mirrors to the same Truth.  Meditate on them, and see what portals they open. Take time with the words, chew on them until they seep into your bones. Sing the hymns to yourself, breathe them in and exhale understanding.

These are mazes of knowing.

Hymn of the Apple
I hail the sun
Its light makes the hidden known.
I hail the sky
Its tears make the ten thousand things grow.

Sophia, Sophia in your arms
I find solace from fear.
I fill my chest with breath
my mind gathers your treasures.

I clap my hands
and listen to the silence
I feel the heat
passing between my palms.

I breathe in
and let the air straighten my neck
I hold my head high
clear of follies.

I roll my shoulders
with an exhale.
I straighten my spine
with an inhale.

Sophia, Sophia in your arms
I find solace from fear.
I fill my chest with breath
my mind gathers your treasures.
