Reality (a Draco Malfoy fanfiction)

At first I would like to say that this is my first ever fanfiction. I don't know if this is going to be good but I really hope so, my friends said that I would be a great writer, so I decided to just give it a shot. To start this of with I would like to apologize for grammar or spelling mistakes since English isn't my native language. I hope everyone will enjoy reading this as much as I will enjoy writing it and I would love if people could give me feedback on my writing.

I don't own any characters or plots made by J.K. Rowling!

This is my own story that I started writing on Wattpad under the name of obliviatemalfoy, this is my own fan fiction based on the story line of Harry Potter made by J.K. Rowling! Don't try to steal it since it's under copyright, thank you very much!

Just when I sat down in one of the emtpy compartments I heard Malfoy making one of his nasty remarks to probably a first year again. O how I hate that boy, he made everything a tad worse than it already was. Just when I got up to get one of the books I bought in the muggle world I heard someone enter my compartment.

"Are those seats taken? Everything else is full." A girl with a dreamy voice and long blonde curly hair asked while she gave me a kind smile. Her smile became even wider when I nodded and she waved another guy over who was carrying a large plant which looked a lot like a cactus.

"I'm Luna and this is Neville." Luna said when I gave her a small smile and continued reading my book even though I couldn't concentrate on reading at all. My mind kept drifting off towards last summer and everything that had happened before it.

I still couldn't believe that my 'parents' had kept this from me for around 14 years now. It isn't something small, hiding the fact that you weren't their real daughter for so many years. They weren't even planning on telling me, I just overheard one of their conversations. They always liked my other 'siblings' more than me and now I finally understood why. I wasn't their real daughter, I was just a replacement for the fact that they couldn't get another child. But nobody could know this, I was just going to act like everything was ok and nothing happened even though not many people would notice anyway.

When I finally looked up from my book I saw that Harry Potter had joined us, talking to Neville about his plant that looked a lot like a cactus. A few minutes later Hermione and Ron joined us. I never really knew them even though I'm in the same year as them. Hermione was at the top of my year together with me though.

When we almost arrived at Hogwarts I decided to change into my Gryffindor robes and sat down next to Luna again. We got off the train together and I just admired the way how carefree Luna is and didn't really care about what others thought of her. I walked with her towards the carriage but stopped right in front of them when I saw the weird looking black horses in front of them.

"What are they?" I whispered while I saw Harry staring at them too. "They're Thestrals. Beautiful, aren't they?" Luna said and I nodded staring straight into one of their eyes. When I got onto one of the carriages I sat next to Luna and wondered where Aurora would be, I hoped that I would see her soon since I really missed her this holiday.

We finally arrived there and walked into the castle, I walked with the others towards the Gryffindor table and that's where I saw Aurora. Nothing could ruin my day anymore, not even the evil smirk Malfoy gave me, not even the fake pink looking lady sitting at the staff table and not even everything that happened in the holidays. I was finally home.
