Night Fall

I'm downtown and it's about noon. I'm piggybacking the person who I think I know but who is in fact a stranger in my own world. Of course I haven't figured this out yet, but what I don't know about this stranger is they are a demon in disguise who is here to haunt me, scare me, tease me and taunt me. I want to stop at a store to look at something but they keep walking. I notice nobody is around but us, I hop off the back of this masked stranger to stop at the store but at the last minute I feel a tight grip on my arm. I turn around and see a hideous, immortal creature that stares at me as if it's looking into my soul. I try to run but I can't, my legs as heavy as concrete, as if they were stuck in tar. I hear a blood curdling scream and at first I think it's my own, but then I realize that even if I tried I couldn't make a noise that malicious. It was coming from the thing that was holding onto my arm. I blink and everything is now black. I can't see a thing. Then I realize that I'm laying in the comfort of my own bed. Then I see light straining to reach me through the cracks of my door. I was to scared from the nightmare I just had to get up. Finally I grabbed my pillow for comfort like I always do and swung my legs over the side of the bed. I walk to my door, I squeeze my pillow tight, took a deep breath in and opened the door. I could see the light from the living room shining from here and I breath out slowly. Relived now that I knew my mom was up. I walked straight to the living room without hesitation. But when I got there, I knew something was abnormal. I call out to my mom but she doesnt respond. I callout again thinking she had not heard me over the tv. She still didn't turn around. I started slowly toward her and when I was standing right behind her, I called for her again. This time. She wiped around so fast it startled me. It took me a second to realize, but it wasn't even her. The same evil face I had seen in my nightmare, was now in my home. This thing has taken away any safety and security from me and it brought me to my knees. It started making that horrible sound it made in my dream. Except this time louder. I was weak, and scared. But I couldn't do anything. This thing had complete control over me and it knew that. It slowly started to rise out of the chair it was sitting in while still screaming and bursting my eardrums. It was getting louder by the second, and it was coming closer. What did it want with me? But I already knew. I woke up panicked and sweating. Fighting nothing but the sheets that draped over my body giving me more warmth then I needed at the moment. I stopped after I realized it was just another nightmare, the usual. But no matter how many times this happeneds, I can't help but break down in tears everytime.
