A Bountiful Thanksgiving Greetings From The Fast Metabolism Diet Community!

We would like to express our gratitude to everyone in the community for being part of this movement towards a healthy lifestyle. This community is born with the advent to influence and help co-dieters carry out the code of this diet.  Because of your great desire in fitness and wellness, we were able to build a strong community with one common interest and that is to achieve a great lifestyle through better eating habits and exercise routine. We believe that in every occasion, the FMD community should be part of the celebration because after all, we all deserve to celebrate life! And so for this Season, it is customary to arrange a book for our beloved community members so we can have sumptuous servings  on the table doubling the goodness of its guilt-free ingredients!  

This 10 Thanksgiving recipe book is specially made to complement the Thanksgiving Season celebrations. The recipes inside is carefully chosen to give you a wide range of tasty and hearty dishes.

This 2016 Thanksgiving, the Fast Metabolism Diet Community aims to bring joy to our avid followers by providing enjoyable meal options because we believe that choosing to be healthy should not cramp your lifestyle, instead, it should be an exciting and fun experience. So satisfy your cheese, meat, or chocolate cravings without being burdened with guilt. Thanksgiving, after all, is a celebration of life, of family, of fun.

Choose whichever recipe in this book suits your preference at the moment, safe in the knowledge that it is a healthy food choice, because here in FMDC, we go for food that satisfies the tummy but at the same time, gladdens the heart.

Cheesy Turkey Meatballs - Phase 3

Imagine cheese melting into your mouth with every bite you take from a flavorful turkey meatball. Sounds heavenly right? The best part is, it's healthy too! So what are you waiting for, try out our new recipe. A truly delectable main course this Thanksgiving Day!

Serves: 6

Serving Size: 2 meatballs

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In large bowl, combine turkey, bread crumbs, almond milk, egg, garlic, rosemary, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. With a 2-tablespoon scoop, scoop turkey mixture and press 1 cube of cashew cheese into center, sealing meat tightly around cheese. Repeat with remaining turkey mixture and cheese.

  2. In 12" skillet, heat oil on medium-high. Add turkey meatballs; cook for 10 minutes or until browned on most sides. Add crushed tomatoes.

  3. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 12 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.

  4. Garnish with parsley and grated cashew cheese. Serve with bread or over pasta.

Spicy Turkey Sausage and Kale Chili - Phase 3

Here is another healthy turkey meal option. An iIalian inspired dish that is going to add spice and warmth to your menu. Tomatoes, chili, and Turkey sausage with a dash of spice is definitely a perfect solution to warm your tummy during cold nights.

Serves: 6

Serving Size: 2 cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil

  • 1 lb. ground spicy turkey sausage

  • 1 large onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 red bell pepper, diced

  • 1 tbsp. chili powder

  • 1 tsp. dried oregano

  • 1 tsp. cayenne

  • 2 tbsp. Crushed tomatoes

  • 1 15-oz. can diced tomatoes

  • 1 15-oz. cannellini beans, rinsed

  • 3 c. chicken broth

  • 1 large bunch kale, torn into pieces

Directions:

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add turkey sausage and cook until golden and cooked through, for about 6 minutes.

  2. Add onion, garlic, red pepper, chili powder, cayenne, and oregano and cook until tender, 6 to 7 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes and stir, 1 minute.

  3. Add diced tomatoes, white beans, and chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and add kale.

  4. Simmer until chili has thickened, for about 30 minutes.
