First Step ~

You will be starting with the width and height of the project.

First you need to decided, the measurement you like to use. The original sizes are 2 x6 before beginning. You first need know one does not have to be a pro to do this.

1. First need either download an free graphic software that are free out there such GIMP. Otherwise, if you have Adobe Photoshop 5-12 or Adobe Photoshop elements a well known graphic software this will do as well.

   One you have installed and it working. To begin, you click new file or file then a box will pop-up.

2. At the width and height type in your measurement of your bookmark. And select color for background.

3. You will then be taken to the process of choosing your background color. First go the left side where the different vary of tools will appear to you.

4. Chose paint tool this will allow you to choose your color. And notice at first you had black or white showing to have the color click square and it will change.

   Note: Have your text information written and prepare before hand. And any not copyrighted photos or image you like to use.

    

   

   Second Step ~

   You will be add your text or information you decided

5. NAME optional

6. Information optional example email, web site.

   Third Step ~

   You will able to highlight the text and add an effect of any, of your choosing. Rather 3D, or enhancing. Once your done with your design. Be sure to save it.

    

    

    

    

    

   Final Step ~

   To make a jpg, bmp, gif of the image this is how.

    

   1. Click file scroll down to export then click it.

   2. You will see a box with name of the design and chose of suffixes

   3. Suffixes are last abbreviation the save design. Example gift, jpg

   4. I recommend jpg first and format.

   5. You may need to rename the design if it does not allow you use the same name indicating the design edited.

   6. if like you can also save your design as pdf if rather have up loadable to friends as PDF to download from a web site.

    

    

   

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

   Using Word To save ~

   One can save their jpg or image of to a WORD PROGRAM.

   1. Click file scroll down to change your format of your print to landscape.

   2. You will then go to INSERT Tab. Scroll down to click picture then click from File.

   3. Find the save design image jpg or gif.

   4. Once you click it should bring in the finished product. And your able to see it clearly.

   

    

   5. As you notice you can repeat the book until the page if full. I recommend 3 to 4 until it goes the next page. If its does go back to the one page only.

   6. Once that's done. Please save name bookmark.

   7. If like have where you can print through PDF. Buy or find free PDF download that converts files from word to PDF. And you can save this on disc as backup.

   8. With your disc you can take your copy to have them done at any printing company depending on their sizes they allow.
