When do you publish your story online?

I write and post a chapter at a time. I wait for my readers' reactions because sometimes their insights help me build up a new problem for the next chapter.

I don't mind at all.
It might just be the two of us asking and answering questions :D

I once tried to write a story a chapter at a time but I couldn't do it. I need to write my story first and completed it before publishing it. I still post a chapter at a time but not until it's been edited. I tend to schedule chapters to be released weekly until the story is complete so reader get consistency and I find this brings in more readers if they know they are reading a story that has already been completed.
