Hi Ann
I'm new...
Just wanted to let you know that I'm pretty young too. I thought I was the only kid on this website. Anyways. I like reading and writing too. Nice to know I'm not alone.

How much food to give the dog a day?
The right amount of food is established empirically for each dog, but there are general recommendations. If you are feeding, the pack will always indicate how large the serving should be, depending on the size of the dog. This is important because the food is a balanced set of elements the dog needs.

If the dog is very active, the recommended serving can be slightly increased. If the dog is very, very lazy, on the contrary, reduce it. The main thing is that the weight of the dog remains constant. In the heat, the portion can be reduced, because the dogs are usually sluggish, and they do not need extra load. In winter, the dog needs more energy and nutrients.
