A Completely Different Story

Introduction

So you literally came here to just read the summary and not my story? Well I bet you did. For you to simply deal with yourself if you should go on and try reading a story of someone like me to know if you might relate with it, or proceed finding another one if not. That's something Elisha Veth Twain contradicted on. She even said that summaries are just made for some authors to play with his/her readers' minds, making them hope of something which, obviously, won't happen for the sake of putting up a little twist around the book, but I have to say that it's a good choice. This isn't one of those lecherous love stories by the way, it's just a simple one, a different one. I know I sound rude, but don't take it seriously, this is just me right before she changed me completely, and entirely. All that I can say to you my friend, is that you will never understand something unless you'll get to the bottom of it. And yes, I'm weird. Elisha and I are weird, because we're different. And we hate being normal. Being normal sucks.

[Author's Post It]

I wanted to say sorry for showing a bit of my protagonist's attitude in the summary page, but it's really him, before. I would also like to admit that I really suck in making such, I'm quite focused on writing the story, not just some summary that spoils everything. And speaking of which, you may find the beginning chapters weird for I intended it to be a little humorous but I do believe that you'll later on discover how serious and decent I am when it comes to writing (especially when I'm about to portray something I've been wanting people to understand and reflect on), I also think that in a place where humor's in the air's a good start for an acquaintance, and it's the best possible way I could ever think of in making them meet. Anyhow, if you really wanted to suggest a summary after reading the whole thing, you can simply comment it below, it would be an honor, and please never judge my work unless you've read it completely. I've gone so far, put a lot of effort on it, gave my very best, so I hope you'll bear with it.

This is all for you, and I stand tall to say that this is different. You won't regret it.

Thank you :]

Chapter 1: The Day That Couldn't Get Any Worse (Part 1/3)

It's quite funny the way people wish of meeting someone who broke them never happened, knowing that anyone could possibly do the same thing all over again. But who the hell cares. I would just put my earphones on, listen to some Sheeran songs and walk throughout the hallway. As if I'm completely fine and not a single crap happened to me the past few days. People usually call me Cade. Some KD? I don't know. It would absolutely be better if they would just call me by my first name Kadar. Pronounced as K - dar. Well, if it wasn't for some dorks who keep on making fun of it every time they relate it with cheese. And look at this people—I'm currently playing songs with my beats, orange knapsack located at my left shoulder, hands in my pocket, white sweater, walking this heck of a long way towards the library, yet they keep on noticing me as I pass by, I can even see one's mouth movement in slow motion without hearing anything, as each of them mention my name with a "hey" before it. It's absolutely weird and disturbing. All I want is to be alone and ignore the world once. They don't even know what I've been through. The emptiness feeling of losing someone so important is like treating pain as your amicable friend.

Finally, I arrived. It seems that I've come to the point that I should read some stupid book. I just hate the fact that pointless rules existed in this place. But whatever it is, I need to have my summer. I then opened the door afterwards and went in. Guess I'm not the only one having troubles for a shit of paper.

I walked, never knew the place would feel so big. Feels cold. I looked around and recently saw some of my friends with few unknown people seated, together with Louie resting his left arm on Marissa's shoulder. Laughing, smiling, talking like always. As if they're just hanging out in the school cafeteria. The only thing diverse is the books on the table they're at. I then tried looking away, continued walking. Pretended as if I never saw them. But Louie's call had always been highly unpredictable. He noticed me. I can even feel him yell from a distance with this massive sound volume I've set for Ed's U.N.I. soundtrack. Got no choice but to pretend for the second time. God.

And there I lifted my head as if I've heard someone calling, they're looking at me, smiling. Can't believe a real existing library would just let them do crap. Louie beckoning me, with a single slight movement of his head to his side, wants me to come. It's a good thing he didn't call me with a finger, he wouldn't like it. I then took some steps towards them. I just hate it when students act like cars at the street—I can barely cross and they just keep blocking my way. I'm halfway close.

I took off an earphone with left hand. "Yo Kadar! my man!," wasn't long before Louie bumptiously greeted me, raising his right fist. He's waiting for me to collaborate, bumping it with mine. He would look stupid if I was to embarrass him, so I've just let our knuckles meet. "waddup dude?" he then asked as we both released, letting his arm fall as it swung down nearly beside his chair. He had always been joyous ever since he got along with Marissa. I don't even know why she would hang out with this jackass. He doesn't do homework, boastful, dumb, failing in class! I mean, how could she be so insensitive? I've been liking her for like, almost my entire high school life. And of all guys she chose him? She could've had an awesome life with me. But I ain't got no feelings for her anyway. And look. I had someone, then all of a sudden, left. I fell for her yet ended up getting hurt. Same crap, same shit, same everything. At very least I never told anyone about all these crap I've been through.

I placed my hands back in my pocket, exhaled as I looked away. "Nothing much," I said with an emotionless face. In response to his lame waddup crap question. I can still feel them staring.

"You actually look good with those eyes," some unknown girl with them suddenly said something. I actually wasn't able to clearly heart it out. Been staring out of nowhere, thinking about things deeply.

"K-Kadar . . . dude?" Louie then woke me up from this daydream I just been through.

"Oh—" I turned my head at them with a slight widening of my eyes, "I-I'm sorry, you were saying?" I asked the girl seated in front of Marissa, I do think it came from her. She's black, long curly hair, looks fine, a little bit hot. Then suddenly they looked at each other. And it wasn't that long before they suddenly laughed so loud. People started looking at us. I immediately fake laughed for embarrassment to be avoided. God, do I really look that hilarious to them?

After the humiliation they just showed, the black girl finally turned her head and looked back at me. Still has the same smile stuck on her face. "I said—" she started talking, seems that she's about to repeat what she just said awhile ago. Her chuckle tone bothers me. "that you, Mr—" she's placing her chin on her palm, elbow on their table ". . . look cute, with those hazel eyes and reddish lips of yours" what the? is she flirting with me? was it just a compliment? Gross. She's now seductively smiling at me. Now this is just the thing that I'm talking about. They don't even know that I'm currently heartbroken, consequently anyone all of a sudden would just do crap at me. Hell.

"O-oh—" I'm staring at her less emotionally with a slight awkwardness within the moment, "t-thanks," I said and smiled in appreciation. She blinked at me. Fuck.

"W-well, it's like—" the heck, why am I still talking? "i-it's like, they're made in—" I got mind blocked, "china?" oh god. I can't believe I just said that. I'm so frustrated.

They were all looking at me, shocked and confused. But how did that chinese serious looking girl at the next table even heard me? God I'm so random.

"S-so you mean—" the black girl started talking, "y-you're half Chinese?" she asked in wonder, tried making things clear.

"Yeah." what? "N-no . . . no, no." I denied as quickly I can. "It's just that—" I rose my right hand from my pocket, slightly bowed my head, tried explaining. "It's good." I placed my hand back, "Yeah." nodded once and smiled. I felt the horizontal eyed girl rolling her eyes. How is that even possible?

After their long and weird stare, they slowly looked at each other and for the second time, bursted another huge, annoying and absolutely mortifying laughter in the middle of a damn library. What's so damn funny!? Stupid. I wasn't able to make any emotion in the moment.

"You sounded good the other day by the way," in my relief, another girl from beside her who didn't laugh that much complimented or at least said something just to break the subject. Some still grinning, "when you sang that Give Me Love song. It was beautiful. I mean, not that beautiful . . . you were great," she looks kinda gorgeous though. Blooming, kept smiling like them. Blonde, white, way better.

"Oh, that." I laid my eyes on her, "It was absolutely embarrassing," I continued, "my voice was terrible, forced just to pass P.E. class. Coach Boris probably just wanted to humiliate me. But it's really my fault for sucking in his class anyway." I explained. "But, yeah. Thanks for that." I half smiled at her. She smiled for a moment as she then faded and looked back facing down at the book she was reading. Had no idea why the rest were still staring at me. They were smiling and raised an eyebrow in a way to express—what on earth is wrong with him?

"Anyway dude—" Louie started talking as some of them finally faded eyes to continue reading as well, still were smiling "we're having a party at my place tonight. Wanna come?" him offering, well that's unusual. But whatever it is, as long as it involves getting drunk, why the hell not?

"Yeah sure." invitation accepted, "I'll see you guys later then?" I smiled minimally and walked out.

"Don't forget your condom!" Okay, I know that being a racist is bad and all? but what the actual fuck is wrong with her? Didn't Louie told them about my relationship status? Oh yeah, I forgot. I never told anyone. But hey, I did told him about the previous one, which, she was studying with me in this damn school which is quite similar to hell. People were looking at me as I passed by, forced myself to ignore, pretended as if I never heard anything. But I did hear the black girl disturbingly laugh together with them, maybe they were just trying to spill a joke. Nothing to worry about. Had enough with all their shits for one day. They still don't know me.

I've walked quite far and finally got in line just to have a small talk with that librarian at that sort of wooden library counter, and this freaking line is so damn long. This could even take forever. But while waiting, I just placed my earphone back on, just noticed it moved to the next soundtrack. I kinda find this one fun and entertaining. We No Speak Americano by Yolanda Be Cool Vrs DCup. I kept moving my right foot, head up and down. God. Why does it take so long for a student to move anyway?

Half an hour has passed and it seems that forever isn't enough to describe this crap. And who in the name of dumbasses is this bastard who keeps on poking me at the back?

I lifted my head by turning right, took off an earphone and it seems that, he's human, just an ordinary one. I then was about to ask what in the depths of hell is his problem, but then he raised his right hand thumb, pointing to his right side. So I lifted my eyes at the direction and—oh shit, it's Boris!

I swiftly looked back in front. "Okay, Kadar. You need to relax." I began saying things within me, "Just relax. Yes, that's it. Just calm down. He ain't gonna notice, nor touch, nor talk, nor kill you. Just caaallmmnn dooowwwnnn, caaalmmnn "Nice sweater." GOD!! what the? . . . dammit!, it's just the stupid guy from behind, creepily whispered with his stupid awful voice. Shocked me, fuck. WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP ON DOING THINGS TO ME LATELY!!??, it's freaking me out man!! Ugh.

I again looked back at him and thanked in a cool way to show my fake esteem. But then, he smiled!? is he making fun of me? what is this freak even laughing about?

After then I faded, turning my head facing front.

I just chilled out, continued listening just to kill time, almost there.

Seven more to go and I'm up. Just felt the vibration of my phone. I then took it from my pocket, pressed the power button and swapped to unlock. It's a message from Louie, what could he possibly want in a moment like this?

I tapped afterwards to take a short look, "Dude! are you gonna dance with Boris :D?" What the heck is this idiot even talking about??

I hit reply, "what? dude I don't get it, what do you mean?" I typed and sent to him, gotta feeling his up to something stupid.

Three students left, within the moment he replied. "his now on his way towards that hottie librarian girl you're about to talk with :DD" he texted back. I promptly looked around. And it wasn't long before I saw him. But I still don't understand Louie's point. I deeply stared at Boris and suddenly noticed—IS HE WEARING THE SAME SWEATER I HAVE NOW!!??
