Unique

Sam was born different. She knew this since she was 10. She wasn't just "unique" like everyone said. Because if everyone was unique then everyone was the same. Everyone was unique. Uniqueness is something you get we your born and something lose when you die. Sam knew she was unique. It was a requirement for being human, but for her, it was different.

Sam had never bothered to worry about her behavior. She was satisfied with her normal life. She'd wake up, go to school, and not talk to anyone unless they talked to her. Which happened rarely since they thought she was crazy. Sam didn't mind when she heard them call her insane or strange, because she was determined to find a word that accurately discribed whoever she was. Or sometimes she thought whatever she was. She collected the words she heard in whispers from people in earshot. Whenever she heard her name mentioned she strained her ears to find the source of noise. But otherwise she closed off the outside world and lived in her own.

But that all changed when her family moved across the country to the middle of nowhere.

If you think I should finish this let me know give it a heart!
