I woke up to my brother,

lying on the floor, full of fright.

I ran into the bathroom,

to go and splash my face.

But when I returned,

I felt like time turned to a race.

Jake was no longer there,

no trace that he was here.

But when I turned around to stare,

there was a man and I was full of fear.

I was scared to death,

so I kicked him it the gut.

And he fell on the floor,

dead, without a cut or a graze.
