This book is dedicated to the love of my life. It is a book about February 2020, a leap year. It is the month and year where I would propose to you on February 23.

I am beyond thankful, humbled and blessed to have you and your family in my life. 

With Valentine's Day on the horizon, I wanted to do something bigger than just one day. I hope you have enjoyed these daily love notes. I loved writing them and believe me, there are a zillion more.

Truthfully though, 29 days is too short. And I know that words don't carry much weight if they're not backed up with action. In this, my prayer is simple..

"Dear Lord, may I always love Shelly like you have always loved us. Thank you for this beautiful woman you have not only just placed in my life, but deep within my heart. She is Yours first. So help me to always love her best."

Shelly, I'm head over heels for you.

I love you for the love you have for Jesus in you!! You shine bright. Brighter than the sun, in fact. It drew me to you. And still does (closer and closer) every single day. Today is February 1st.. 28 more days to go.

I love you for your love for being an amazing mom to your amazing children.

It really is something special to watch you in your most favorite role as mom. I know that it’s not always easy. Parenting is not. But how you let God lead you and how you love and care for, made sacrifices for, the tough decisions for, and have fought for your children...

It’s beautiful and truly is something special.

I am humbled to have been given this place amidst such an incredible family.
