Wondering Watermelon

Once upon a time in a faraway land called Fruitopolus. Many fruit people lived there, apples, bananas, oranges, tangerines, grapes, pineapples, dragon fruits, and many more fruits! However there was this one fruit called a watermelon. Her name was Willa, and Willa was always wondering why she was the only different fruit in all of Fruitopolus? She had no family or friends that looked like her. So she always spend her days sitting out under a big oak tree wondering why was she was different from the others, why she never saw any other fruit like herself? The other fruits would make fun of port Willa because she was different from all the other fruit. They'd throw rocks and sticks at her, causing her insides to bruise. So Willa always stayed away from the city of judgmental fruits and stayed under her oak tree. One afternoon while Willa was taking a nap, a young strawberry fell from the oak tree. Turns out the oak tree was a strawberry tree! Willa woke up from the fall and was frightened by this fruit she was never seen before so she hide behind the tree. "Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you. My names Sarah, and I'm a strawberry! Well...I'm actually the only strawberry around here. I never met my family or anyone like me before." Sarah explained. "Your...different...like me," Said Willa. "I thought I was the only different one around here." Sarah came around the tree to see Willa. "What a beautiful shade of green you have! I'm red with little dots around me. I'm almost mistaken for a lady bug!" Said Sarah nervously. "I've always wondered why do other fruits treat other fruits that are different cruelly? We are apart of the same type of food, I mean I'm round like an orange, but my color on my outside is different."  Said Willa. "I wonder the exact same thing! Hey maybe we can be different together! We don't have anyone else so why not?" Sarah said excitedly. "I don't see why not so ok! I'm glad that I'm not alone anymore. Maybe we can go into town and stay together, maybe the other fruits might not judge us if there's two different's." Willa explained. "Ok! Then maybe we can be friends too! And if anyone messes with you, then I'll protect you." Said Sarah. "And if anyone messes with you, I'll protect you too!" Willa smiled. The two different's walked into town, close to each other, and the other fruits looked confused, they weren't throwing anything that them but they were just shocked by what they saw. Now, both Willa and Sarah know why the others treated them differently, because the others were all the same. The end!
