My name is Mia Sanchez and I am 16 years old. I live in Fresno, California. It snows here a lot and I am so sick of it.

“ Okay class today we will be learning about snow!” Mr. Drew said

“ Fun" I said sarcastically. Everyone laughed

“ Yes Ms. Sanchez it will be fun because you are doing a 10 page essay on it and it's due tomorrow” Mr. Drew laughed. Nobody laughed.

“ Oh come on guys that was funny?" Mr. Drew said

“ Oh fine whatever class dismissed” Mr. Drew said. I walked out of class.

“ Hey Mia?" Antonio said. He is my best friend. He used to like me but I rejected him..twice. Then he found a girl.

“ Hey what's up?” I asked

“ Nothing I was just wondering if you could invite someone to come with you to go to Yogurt Court tonight with me and Bethany?” Antonio asked. Everyone wants me to invite someone so that I am not the third wheel every time. Bethany is Antonio's girlfriend.

“ Er no thanks” I said and started to walk off

“ Okay fine but what if I told you that I got you a date?” Antonio asked. I hated it when he did this. Last time he did this it didn't end well. Lets just say that there was a fight.

“ No didn't you learn a lesson last time?” I asked

“ Yes and no but you really need someone” Antonio said

“ No I don't, and who did you invite as my date?” I asked

“ Well….. just Anthony Williams” Antonio said

“ ANTONIO!" I yelled

“ Sorry but I had to” 

“ You didn't have to do anything. I am calling it off” I said

“ No wait you can't!” Antonio said

“ Why not? I can do anything I want” I laughed

“ He likes you okay” Antonio said

“ What do you mean?” I asked honestly not curious at all

“ He only said yes because he likes you” Antonio said

“ Aw! how cute, I don't care” I said

“ Please give Anthony a chance” Antonio begged. Anthony was a really stuck up jerk who treated my pretty, popular, nice sister Hannah like crap. I was like the ugly sister who has horrible grades and never goes to school parties but I create my own.

“ Fine” I whined 

“ Yes thank you so much Mia you won't forget!” Antonio yelled down the hallway. Yikes. I saw Anthony down the hallway. I avoided him.

“ Hey Mi?” Anthony asked

“ Hey actually my name is Mia” I said

“ Oh well I call my girl a nickname” He said

“ Okay then see you later tonight?” I asked

“ Oh yeah sure. Can you wear something Black? because I am wearing something colorful and I want to stand out more” Anthony said. Sure I would do that. If he thought I was an idiot. 

“ Yeah sure whatever you want" I lied. I was going to wear exactly the same color as he was. Maybe even better.

I parked my car in front of my house. I could see that my sister was home.

“ Hey y'all” I called as I walked inside

“ Hey little sister how are you?” Hannah said and hugged me

“ Nothing” I said and let her go

“ Are you coming to my pageant tonight?" Hannah asked

“ Yes I am” I said just so I didn't have to go with Anthony

“ Oh honey no your not” Mom said as she appeared through the hallway. “ You are going out tonight. At least that is what I heard?” Mom asked.

“ Mom I don't want to” I whined

“ Antonio told me that you have a date and you are not going to abandon him like that” Mom said. Ugh I hate it when she did that.

“ Fine” I agreed

“ OH MY GOD! You have a date??” Hannah yelled

“ Yes I do”I said

“ Can I dress you for it?” Hannah asked

“No” I said and walked off. But then sooner or later I ended up in Hannah's beauty salon.

“ Oh Mia” Hannah said and handed me a mirror

“ I look actually good for once” I laughed and set down the mirror

“ Mia look at me” Hannah said. I turned around so that I could face her.

“ You are so beautiful, and just because you don't think so doesn't mean that you are. You can be hideous on the outside but very beautiful on the inside. Find a guy who can see both,cause you are beautiful inside and out.” Hannah said

“ Thank you Hannah” I said and hugged her

“ Anytime little sis” Hannah said and laughed. I went down stairs in an outfit that I would normally wear.

“ Well see you later bro's" I called out and left. I could hear mom say to Hannah.

“ She will always be herself”. I got to the yogurt court.

“ Hey what up Mia?” Antonio said as I walked in. Bethany came up to me and hugged me. She like loves everything about me. I looked over the entire restaurant for Anthony. I couldn't spot him anywhere.

“ Hey where's Anthony?” I asked

“ He got the flu” Bethany said

“ Oh yes I don't have a date” I laughed

“ Oh I wouldn't get to happy.” Antonio said

“ Why?” I asked

“ Because he got you another date” Bethany laughed

“ Are you kidding me?” I asked

“ Yep and you love him” Antonio said. As he said that the most cutest gut came around the corner. Carson Anderson.

“ Why?” I asked

“ Because” Antonio said. I took my seat.

“ Hey Hannah how are you?” Carson said

“ Good” I lied. What the heck was I thinking pretending that I was my sister. Couldn't he tell us apart?

“ Yeah. how are you?” I asked

“ Good now that your here” Carson said 

“ Why is that?" I asked

“ Because I hate being alone” Carson said

“ Oh” I said

“ So how have you been?” Carson asked

“ Good how about you?” I asked

“ Good” He answered. I turned around and I saw Bethany laughing at something Antonio said.

“ I'm going to get something to eat” Carson said and left the the counter. I checked my phone. I got a message from Hannah.

“ Mia. Please explain to me why on Bethany's story does it say “Hannah and Carson..Meant to be?” 

“ I don't now Hannah” I lied

“ Mia when you get home up in my room.” Hannah said. Whenever she puts a period at the end of her texts. That means I am in trouble and she is mad at me. Carson came back.

“ Hey Carson I need to tell you something” I said

“ Yeah hold on can I get some ketchup please and thank you” 

“ Okay what?” Carson asked

“ I want to tell yo…” His phone started to ring

“ Oh sorry can I take this?” He asked

“ Yeah go ahead” I said and he left.

I got home late. I tried to be as silent as I could possibly can,but that failed me.

“ So Hannah tell me all about you night?” Hannah said

“ Look Hannah I am sorry and I tried to tell him that I was Mia but he didn't listen” I said

“ Oh so tell him tomorrow” Hannah said

“ Um well I actually like him though” I said

“ Mia!” Hannah said

“ What I think he's hot?” I said

“ Mia also known as Hannah, you need to tell him that you hate his guts and that you are not interested” Hannah said

“ Why??” I asked

“ Mia you need to tell him the truth and I want you to stop pretending something your not!” Hannah yelled.

“ Girls what is the hell is going on?? DO you not know what time it is?” Mom asked.

“ Mom Mia was pretending she was me!” Hannah said in this whiny annoying voice. 

“ Was not!” I yelled

“ GIRLS!! SHUT UP AND GO TO BED!” Mom yelled and pointed upstairs. I walked upstairs then tripped Hannah.

“ Mom She tripped me!” Hannah screamed

“ Mia?” Mom asked

“ No I didn't” I said

“ Okay Hannah your grounded” Mom said. I turned around and smiled at her.

I woke up. I turned to the side. So happy that today was Saturday

“ AHHHH Mom!!” I yelled. There were spiders all on my desk

“ What honey?” Mom asked as she walked inside my room

“ Haha You look so great Mia” Hannah said and took a picture of me. “ Hannah delete those right now!” I yelled.

“ Sure after I post this.Your going to be famous!” Hannah said and left. “ Give me your phone now Hannah. This is not how you behave especially sense you have another pageant tomorrow” Mom said. Hannah handed her phone to mom and left.

“ Mia your grounded too” Mom said

“ But why?” I asked

“ Because I know your little game Mia. Your not little anymore and I pay attention more than you think” Mom said and smiled.

“ Okay yeah you caught me” I laughed

“ Go down and solve this with your sister. And just because you look a lot like her doesn't mean that you should pretend to be her” Mom said. 

“ Okay” I promised. I walked downstairs and saw Hannah sitting on the couch watching some show. 

“ Hey Hannah can I talk to you?” I asked

“ Yeah” Hannah said and turned of the t.v and turned towards me

“ I want to apologize for pretending that I was you” I said

“ Oh please Mia, are you really?” Hannah laughed

“ Yes and no let me get to my point” I laughed with her

“ Your point is?” Hannah smiled

“ My point is that I am sorry and I will tell him” I said

“ You don't have to Mia. It's up to you if you want to tell the truth” Hannah said. 

“ Well Hannah how do you get people to like you?” I asked

“ Well honestly just be yourself,and have confident” Hannah said

“ I try and everyone hates that” I said

“ Be yourself in front of Carson. I bet he will give you a chance” Hannah said.

“ Okay thanks” I said and we hugged

“ No problem ask me anytime. Just don't be me” Hannah laughed

“ Yeah okay got that” I laughed and left up to my room. I found Carson's number. I couldn't just tell him that I lied on the phone so I am going to have to face him myself.

“ Hey Carson?” I asked

“ Hey who is this?” Carson asked. I inhaled deeply.

“ It's Hannah” I lied I feel so horrible right now

“ Oh hey what's up?” Carson asked

“ Um can we talk?” I asked

“ Yeah” Carson said. He waited for me to say something

“ Oh I meant like can we meet up?” I asked

“ Oh yeah sure where?” Carson asked

“ Um the The Spot?” I suggested

“ Yeah sure I will be there in 10 minutes?” Carson said

“ Yeah sure” I said 

“ Okay see you Hannah” Carson said

“ …Bye” I said and hung up. I got into my car and left. I saw Carson's car parked in the front. I walked in and saw Carson sitting. He spotted me and he had the most cutest smile on his face. It was lopped sided that reached his eyes.

“ Hey” I said as I took my seat

“ Hey so what do we need to talk about?" Carson asked

“ Um I wanted to tell you that I lied” I said and looked down

“ Lied about what?" Carson asked

“ I lied I am a fake.. I am not Hannah” I said. He got up and walked away.

“ Wait Carson I can explain” I pleaded

“ No what is there to explain? You lied and I hate liars!” Carson yelled and walked outside.

“ Please I know your mad and I know you like Hannah and I am sorry!” I cried

“ Sorry but Hannah,actually I never got your real name or do you even have one?” Carson asked

“ My name is Mia” I whispered

“ Fine then Mia I never want to hear or talk to you ever again” Carson said and got into his car and drove off. I sat on the curb and cried.

I finally got up and drove home. 

“ Hey Mia how did it go?” Hannah asked

“ Great he hates me and he doesn't want me to talk to him ever again” I sighed and left the room.

“ So he just got mad and walked off?” Hannah asked

“ Yeah so?” I said

“ Well I was expecting him to throw something or hit someone that's all" Hannah said. I stared her down.

“ What?” Hannah asked

“ There is something for reals wrong with you”  I laughed and headed up to my room. I layed on my bed. There was a knock at my door.

“ Come in” I said

“ Hey Mia…" Antonio said. I turned away

“ Can I sit there?” He asked pointing to the little couch on the other side of the room.

“ Can we talk?” Antonio asked

“ Well I mean like sure sense your already in my house” I snapped

“ Mia I am sorry.. I didn't know he would think you were Hannah” Antonio said.

“ Okay I forgive you..but no more  choosing my dates for me” I laughed and hugged him.

I went to school the next day.  Carson avoided me all week. I tried to talk to him but he pretended that I wasn't there.

“ Hey Mia what's up with Carson?” Jessica asked me in Biology. Jessica isn't really one of my friends but I think she's chill.

“ Um I did something” I said shyly

“ What?” She asked

“ I pretended I was my sister and he didn't like  it” I said

“ Oh ha. He deserves that” Jessica laughed

“ Why?” I asked

“ He dated my younger sister and then  he said he found Hannah” She said. Of course.

School ended slowly. I walked to my car. I saw a dark figure standing there.

“ Hey Mia..” Carson said. I didn't respond

“ I know you hate me and I'm sorry” Carson asked. I could feel the hot tears forming. I looked away.

“ Say something” He yelled

“ I don't know what to say Carson.Damn it” I yelled and put my head against the car.

“ Please Mia I am really sorry” Carson repeated

“ I know Carson and I am sorry I was fake. I am such and ugly and annoying person” I cried. I looked up to see his reaction. He was actually smiling. He pulled me into his warm arms.

“ You are so cute when you get mad” Carson laughed

“ What?” I asked

“ I think your cute when your mad” He laughed again and looked down at me.

“ Why?” I asked

“ Why what?” Carson asked

“ Why are you saying that?” I asked

“ Well it's true you are cute. Your nostrils flair when your mad” He said. I couldn't help but look at my nose in the mirror. It was.

“ So are we good now?” He asked

“ Yeah” I laughed

“ Good so I was wondering..” He trailed off

“ What?” I asked

“ Well I was wondering if you would. Well it's more of a sorry gift but a movie?” He asked. I looked down.
