Elias is a professional of Communication Sciences. Early as a graduate student he is concerned with research issues. He graduates in Communication Sciences at the University Lusófona of Humanities And Technologies, in Lisbon, and in a fast pace he finishes the first book on "Cyberpunk". Since 1999 the author endeavours in working as a Journalist on Internet-focused and multimedia-driven, IT news and entertainment magazines.
Technology, generally speaking, but mostly, electronic music, videogames, hardware, software and science fiction are the key-issues he is concerned with. Almost over a decade he tries projects on Web Art, book cover design, writing, advertising, Photoshop and video editing. Besides a theoretical investment, his work displays strong attachments to image, filmmaking and motion graphics.
Digital culture represents his research starting point in the 90s, and until present day it remains a core of issues in progressive work status. His Master Dissertation is entitled “First Person Shooter: The Subjective Cyberspace” while the Doctoral Graduation Thesis is introduced in 2010 as “The Anime Galaxy - Japanese Animation As New Media”. Two of the latest works are the essay "Post-Web: The Continuous Geography of Digital Media" (2013) and the noir thriller novel "The Complete Man" (2012), published and available now on on the amazon.com online shop.
