Yet, one day the world was forever toppled. The world below Gran Eternia was called the Nile west. It was a barren wasteland, filled with hundreds of savage animals and grass. For a while, the two worlds were at peace. Then the fragment war was caused. This caused servere damage to the wall barrier protecting Gran Eternia. As protection, the Marzials, gods who ruled Gran Eternia, cursed everyone who lived on Nile West. They were turned into Marzis, Demi-gods who were given special powers for special purposes. If they were given the powers on Nile West, their purpose would be to harm individuals on Gran. If the powers were on Gran, they would have the same purpose to destroy Nile. This would continue, until the Marzials, on both planets struck a deal. They would refuse to turn more innocent people into Marzis. But that all changed....

Van sat down the tea on the counter. She turns on the tv to channel 10, to find the " breaking news" icon popping up, in big red letters. " More breaking news, on the abandoned wreckage found in a secluded part of the beach last night. The wreckage is believed to be from Nile west, but authorities are still investigating whether or not it's dangerous. More news at-" Van clicks the remote and it shuts off. She sits down at the table and looks out the window. Trains have been transporting wreckage since earlier this morning. Anyone willing to help out has been sent on a train, but they haven't arrived back yet. The government isn't the addressing the issue and it's only making people more anxious. As Van sips her tea she hears an explosion. She hurriedly looks out the window, to see people yelling and a 8 inch hole in the construction area, a few miles away from her house. The Regeas, the authorities on Gran, are seen beating innocent civilians. Van sees one solider beat a poor man, right in front of his daughter's eyes. Van sits the tea abruptly, causing it to spill a little. She grabs her black hoodie and puts on her jet black boots and hurries off. As she nears the construction site, she notices one of the yard trains in the area. The Regeas are shoving people forcefully, without care. One woman was forced onto the already crowded train, causing her to be separated from her son. Van quickly turns around but is stopped but a guard. " where do you think you're going?" He asks gruffly. " home." She said simply. She crossed her arms. This guard didn't scare her at all. But he then grabbed her brutally by the arm, and throws her into the train. Her " no" was cut off by the train doors closing in her face. As she finds a partially covered seat to sit on, she prays silently that she'll get through this.

The train finally came to a screeching halt, throwing Van into a pile of other people. The doors open and everyone in the carts, depart as fast as possible. Van steps off to get her surroundings. It seems like a graveyard filled with junk. Men in hazmat suits and guns walk around. A group of the men stop in front of Van and the other citizens. " you are all being transported to Nile West, on suspicions you're infected with a virus. No use in coexist us! You're going down to the hellhole either way." The silence that once floated in the air had dispersed and was filled with angry murmuring and panicking. Van was grabbed by two men in the hazmat and suits and taken into a partially lit room. She kicked and struggled, but she was no match for them... yet. The double doors behind her shut tightly and bolted into place. As she looks around, she notices a small group of teens around her age, sitting in a circle. They take notice of her presence as she strolls closer to them. " Can I sit here?" She points to a bare spot on the floor. " sure." One of the girls said. She had emerald eyes, fiery red hair, and freckles. Van takes a seat next to her and she turns to face her. " I'm Emily. And you?" Emily extends her hand out. " Van." She replies and gives a handshake. The boy next to Emily has a black trench coat, boots, a bandana, he gives Van a small smile and says," I'm josh." She nods, and the girl next to him also introduces herself. She has a leather jacket, autumn hair, and ripped blue jeans with converse. " The name's Joy." The guy next to her introduces herself. " It's Ian." He jerks a thumb over to another guy in the corner. He stares directly into Van's eyes before turning away. " that's Raines." " why is he alone?" She asks Emily. She shrugs, and then leans in. " He came here, like two days ago. Every time we've tried to talk to him, he would just walk back into his corner." Van studies him for a few more minutes. She felt that there was more to him, and she was gonna figure it out.
