It’s serious and you can die for it.

But when you are a teenager of just seventeen,Love is quite quite different.

So when this morning after the long three months of Summer Vacations,I entered in the school,Every eye turned towards me,Mostly the male population of Washington High School.

And that is because of my killer looks and my clothes.

Yeah,I love wearing halter tops,Mini skirts,Capris,And yeah..those shirts which end up just and inch below your chest.

And today,I was wearing it.

“Hey,Em!”A guy just called out.I turned to come face to face,with the school’s most popular boy,Bret.

Okay,Not soo popular but he comes second after Matt.

Who actually is the school’s MOST popular boy,Becaus of his hotness plus cuteness plus handsomeness and much much more.

He is very adorable and Handsome.

With light brown hair,Always falling on his left eye,Green eyes,with thick light brown eyelashes.He’s seventeen and a junior,Like me,Eleventh grade.

6’2.Extremely tall.I know because every time we kissed he had to lift me up from the ground,Because I am only 5’6.

Soo where was I?Yeah,So with all that beautiful white skin,Which is now I heard is a little bit sun tanned,Because of all the time,I suppose,He spent out partying or at the beach,These summer holidays.Which I know,Would have heightened his God Like Hot features.

But most of the girls,In the school have their crushes on him,And the other girls have their crushes on others.

“Hello Bret!”I smiled and hugged him.We are friends.

“Um...Well,Tough break...Huh?”I know what he meant.

I shrugged.

“Well,No comments.Bret,I’ll meet you in class,You know I know Lucy will ne waiting”Bret nodded.

“Let me come with you,”He said,I nodded...Because of course,He was my best friend’s boyfriend.

This is because,I am a popular girl,So we hang out with the popular gang.

It includes,Me,Lucy;My bestie since grade five,Alex,Bret,Anna,Wyatt and Matt.

This group was made when we first came in High school,You know ninth grade,and then somehow we became one on the popular gangs.

So then,Matt became the Most wanted and popular guy,and I became the most popular girl.

And our friends,Who are also very Wanted And popular but there is still a King and Queen,And that was what Matt and I are.

So,It turned out,Matt who flirted with every girl,Because every girl wanted to flirt with him,So it turned out,That he loves me.

And that was that,When I suddenly realised That I love him too,And we started dating in ninth grade.

And it’s been two and a half years,and we broke up.

Maybe because he was bored or I was?

We just said,It’s better that we broke up.No,he said that...Because lately we were not seeing eachother as much as we used to.And over the summer break.

It was over.

I did’nt cry,I didn't wanted to.And that was that.

So coming to me.I would never lie.But I am a girl with auburn hair,Coming down to my waist.Grey eyes,Thick eyelashes.White and pink skin.Heighted 5’6.With a slim body,And beautiful features.

And a great sense of style.

“Hey Lucy,”I found Lucy with Alex,Waytt and Anna.

“Heyyy!”She shrieked and hugged me,tightly.

“So...the king and queen broke up?”Wyatt asked His eyebrows raised.

“Well....No comments,”

“She said the same thing to me,”Bret said,and smacked me lightly across my head.

They nodded.

“Okay,Okay,But beware,Everyone now knows you are single and the wolfs are out of their cage,”Alex warned,And I smiled.

“Come on,To the class!”I said,And we all walked towards the class.

As I entered in the class,I saw Matt with a blonde girl.Laughing.Just laughing.

He was no kissing her.Unlikely thing for him. 

Okay,After we started dating he never flirted with a girl,Which made some girls hate me very much.

But before we started dating,Which was Second of September,After Summer Vacations of ninth grade.And the short period before it,He was seen snogging girls.

So,He was not kissing her and when he saw me he got up so quick that he nearly fall.

“Hey Em!”He said,

You know it was pretty weird that we did not kiss.I was soo used to it.

And now.

I did’nt knew what to do,but the gang entered in the class behind me,And Matt joined us.Waving at the blonde,Who winked at him.

I could feel myself turning red.But why?

I think it was only because the while of the class was looking at us.

At first because it was the first time,Matt and I had spoken after our breakup.And that news went through the whole school,I don’t know how?Because it was summer break.

Still and secondly,The whole gang had entered the class,And everyone was watching Us.

As usual,But I felt unusual.

We took our seats,and surprisingly Matt took his usual seat,Beside me.

I tried to ignore it,As everyone in our gang was.Because they were busy chatting.

But,The others did!

I could hear a girl go:

“They broke up,Did’nt they?”

And another reply.

“Yeah.Over the summer break,Shocking!After two years,But still it’s a relief he’s no more single,”

Then more girls joined the conversation 

“Oh well,As if he’ll lay his eyes upon us!Still,Rumours had it ,That they broke up because Matt found a new girl,Is it true?”

“Ah...no,The poor guy,Never laid his eyes upon another girl,When he was with her.He would have felt that and broken up,Maybe got tired of her?”

“Never,She’s so beautiful,I suppose more than Taylor Swift,No one can ever get tired of her,”

“They were like the king and queen of the school,I feel bad,”

“Oh come one,It’s such a good news!”

“And can you believe they broke up over the phone?”

“Who told you that,Nina?”

“My boyfriend,He’s Matt’s neighbour and he told that Matt was home for three days and never left,You know eleventh of June..They broke up on Eleven June,You would have seen Her status?”

“Oh no,I did’nt....Well,Why does it matter that they broke up over the phone or.......”She trailed off,Whoever she was,She had to.

 Because I stood up,Swiftly and turned,They were sitting two rows behind me,And one tow behinf the gang.

“What is up with you?”I demanded,Niw everyone was looking at me again.

The girls just stared at me.

“It is my personal life,Amd even if we broke up on phone or not,He’s never gonna lay his eyes on you!He isn’t mine but,He’ll never be yours,ANY ONE OF YOU!”I yelled,And slumped down on my seat.

I know he was staring at me,While the others calmed me down.

I blushed and looked away.

He did nothing,But during the class,I saw him reach for my hand,And squeeze it softly.

I remained still,Till he took it away.

I got up as fast as I could,After the class and rushed out of the class,because I knew he was gonna go and snog that blondie.

 Once I was out of the class,I headed towards the girls’ room.I had to act cool,Because I am cool.

I flipped my auburn hair over my shoulder and walked with full confidence as was my style.

But,The difference was he was not by my side.

We used to walk,Our arms linked.Chatting,Happily.But,Now we were not together.

“Hello,Emily!”I turned on hearing my name.

I saw boy,With blonde hair and above six feet height come towards me.

“Yeah?”I demanded,My one hand on my hip.

“Well....Hey,”He said,I knew he was nervous.

“Calm down,I don’t bite,”He smiled at me.I noticed he had blue eyes.

“Oh well,You are the popular beauty,And everyone’s looking at us,So it feels weird,”He shrugged,

“Aw...It doesn't matter,”

“So...Well,I...”He stammered.

“Go on,I won’t mind,”I assured him.

“Will you go out with me,Friday night?”He asked,I was not expecting it.I did’nt even knew him.

“Oh....Well,What’s your name?”I asked.

“Carol,Carol Johnson,”

I gave him one of my most dazzling smile,Which stole Matt’s heart.Once upon a time.

“Okay,Carol....I’ll go with you,”He seemed to burst with happiness.

“Oh...Oh....I never thought you’de agree..”

“Why is that so?”I demanded.

“You’re the queen of High school,”He said.

And then I realised,That people thought that the popular gang is somewhat,Not human?

Or what?

“Hey...Popular folks are also human,Chill,”I laid my hand on his shoulder.

“Can I get your number?”He asked.I gave him my number.

“Thanks,I’ll give you a ring to tell you about the time and place,”

I nodded,He smiled again and left.

Alex was right!The wolfs were out of their cage.

But,Carol seemed nice...Not like a wolf.

“I got invited to a date,Friday night,”I announced at break.

“I told you,Em,”Alex said,I nodded.

“I know,So isn’t it,Cool?”I asked.

“Good,Because you need to freshen up,After all that,”Wyatt agreed.

“It’ll be nice,Lucy and I are going on a date on Friday too,”Bret said,And kissed Lucy.I smiled.

It was nice,Back when Matt and I,Lucy and Bret and Wyatt and Anna were the three couples on our table.

Alex never dated,He said dating makes him vomit.He only flirted,He was the most popular play boy of the high school,And always had a new girl by his side.

So that was our gang.

But now,Matt and I were not together.

He wasn’t even there.I caight sight of him,With the blondie.

“So...What’s up with Matt,Seems to be lost in a blonde,”Wyatt remarked at him.

“Matt!”He cried,Matt looked up From where he was looking at his phone,Smiled and got up.Walking towards us.

“Oh...Sorry guys,That girl’s really annoying me!”He said,And sat down on a seat.Looking relieved .

“So...What’s the discussion today?”He asked.Becauseit was our groups own style,We always had a topic to discuss upon,For ten to fifteen minutes.

“Dating,”Alex said.

“Okay...So?”He looked at us,And then me,I looked away.

“Um....Emi.....”

“I’m going on a date,”I cut through Wyatt and said.

“Oh...Good....good for you,”He just said that.

“Yeah,As you are also dating,”I muttered.

“I told you,I’m not dating her...”

“It doesn’t matter,Matt!”

It felt like,No one else was there and we started to fight.

“It does!Why are you behaving like this?”

“I’m not....You were off with that blonde bitch!”I said,Rather fiercely.I couldn't shout.Or else we’ll create a scene.

“I told you...Se just came!And I had to talk to her..”

“And kiss her?”I demanded.

“I didn’t....I didn’t kiss her..For heavens’ sake,Em!”

“I....whatever Matt,I don’t care whom you kiss,Or make love with!”It just slipped off my mouth.Remembering the fact that we lost our virginity to one another in grade tenth,Summer vacations.

“What the...?Why don’t you care....You will care once...”

“Once?”I demanded,rather haughtily.

“Once I kiss you,Once again,”With that he got up,Leant over the table,To reach me.And kissed me.

It was like he never had kissed me.

The kiss deepened,And eventually he had to climb up the table,Leaving my lips for a few seconds,Pick me like I was a needle,Place me on his lap and continued kissing me.

It was soo passionate that,I felt tears in my eyes.

We were kissing!

Not caring about the surroundings.The whole caf was staring at us.

Including our friends.

We broke away,after several minutes.

“I...missed you....Em.....Soo much....Two months were like the....”

I shushed him and got up from his lap.

“We’ll decided on this after my date,Matt,”I said and rushed out of the caf.Leaving him stare after me.

 “You both kissed!And now you say you’ll think!”Lucy shouted.

“Lucy!He broke up with me,I have to find out why he did this!”I shouted back.

Lucy softened up a little.

“Okay,Okay clam down...I know he did...”

“Yes!He did,And I’m gonna find out everything!”I stood up,My head held high.

“Oh well...So what are you wearing for the date?”

“I don’t know,Just something casual,”I shrugged.

“You are in no mood to go,I know,”

I looked at her.

“I guess,but I’m looking forward to it,As long as he don’t kiss me,”

“Oh yeah,Kissing on the first date is so not cool!”I nodded,And went towards my wardrobe to decide on the clothes.

I was not an experienced dater,For I never went on a date,Except with Matt Of course.

“Hey look at this,How is it?”I asked,taking out a blue dress.

“Nice and sophisticated,”Lucy remarked.

“Good,”I said and hung the dress,on my cupboard’s knob.

“Well,Well.....Saturday...It’s too far,”I groaned.

“Patience honey,Patience,”

“Oh come on,I’m just...Just excited,”I shrugged.But,the truth was I had to do this quick so I could decide on Matt.

I had to start my mission,Tomorrow.

Collect evidence,But what evidence?He did’nt kill anybody.

But,Still I had to do it.Starting from.......Matt’s house.

Yep.

“Em?Em?”Lucy was shaking me.

“Yeah yeah?”

“Day dreaming?”She demanded.

“Kindda,”I shrugged.

“Whatever,I have to go now..I need to complete that freaking essay,”Lusy hugged me and left.

I was left with my own thoughts.I just don’t know what was up with Matt.

Was he still in love with me?

Or he was just playing?

But,I think he had changed himself,completely.Once we started dating.

“Oh God!”I growled,Going mad with confusion.
