Scene one:

(Chloe's house)

Emma: Chloe, what is here for me anymore?

Chloe: Listen, I know that the break up was bad and I know your sister died last year but you have us, friends.

Emma: Yes, but I just want to move on. I want to paint. I want to have artworks that people pay heaps of money to buy.

Chloe: You can do that here. Listen you have friends here who care about you. You can't just pack up and leave.

Emma: It's too late. I want to live my life. Why don't you stop trying to stop me. If your my friend then support me.

Scene 2:

(Beach)

Lily: I love this place. The sand between your toes, the blue ocean. The breeze. I just love it. Jack I don't want to ever leave this place no matter what.

Jack: Me neither. 

Lily: I want to raise a family here. How cool would that be. Too fast hey.

Jack: Yeah a bit. It could happen one day though.

Lily: Really?

Jack: Yeah, you don't think I was gonna leave you anytime soon did you?

Lily: No, of course not. I have been through a lot this year especially. Living here has made me go through so many things that a lot of people don't go through. I feel like those things have made me stronger. 

Jack: I think it has. 

Lily: Oh thanks.

Scene 3:

(Sophie's house)

Sophie: Why are you so angry today?

Ellie: I'm just tired. A lot happens in a short space of time hey.

Sophie: I agree a hundred percent. Have you seen Lily?

Ellie: She went out on a date with Jack last night.

Sophie: Oh. They must be hanging out today or something. I feel like us girls haven't had a lot of girl time since they got together.

Ellie: Yeah, kind of. She is happy though. That's all that matters.

Sophie: True.

Scene 4:

(Cafe)

Chloe: I mean, really want her to achieve her dreams but I don't want her to leave. 

Penny: I know. We have to do something.

Chloe: Like what?

Penny: I don't know yet. It has to be soon though because I'm the same. She is great at painting. Why does she have to leave to do it though.

Chloe: She broke up with her boyfriend last week and her sister died last year. She wants to move on. She can move on though here.

Penny: Even if she just went on a holiday for a while to refresh. That way she doesn't actually leave.

Chloe: I just want her to be happy.

Penny: Me too. It's hard. 

Scene 5:

(Beach)

Jack: Lily, there is something I've been meaning to ask you.

Lily: Yeah?

Jack: How would you feel about moving in with me.

Lily: Really? You would want that?

Jack: I would love that. What do you say?

Lily: Yes!! Of course. I would love too. When?

Jack: Well when would you like to. It would have to be on one of my days off so I can help you.

Lily: Well, your next day off then. That's alright is it?

Jack: Yes. My next day off is not tomorrow but the day after.

Lily: Great! It's ok though is it? Sorry just making sure.

Jack: Yes. It's even better.

Lily: Thank you. I will have to tell Sophie though. Uh I'll see you later?

Jack: Yeah, see you.

Scene 6:

(Sophie's house)

Lily: Hey, I need to tell you something Sophie. It's not a yes or no question it's already been decided.

Sophie: Yeah?

Lily: Um, I'm moving in with Jack in a few days.

Sophie: What? That fast?

Lily: Actually, we've been together for more then a year. Can I ask you something?

Sophie: Yeah.

Lily: What do you have against him? 

Sophie: Nothing.

Lily: You sure, because whenever I say something about him you roll your eyes or mutter something under your breath.

Sophie: Maybe you have been a bit distant from us since you got together.

Lily: Are you kidding me? Me and you have been friends since primary school. I can hang out with someone different.

Sophie: Yes, but we don't even talk anymore.

Lily: We do so. I don't have anything against you ok. I'm with Jack though so I will have times when I talk to him more.

Sophie: You have changed so much too Lily. Your not the person I used to know.

Lily: I've gotta go. 

Scene 7

(Beach)

Penny: Hey Emma, I heard that you've been thinking of leaving

Emma: Yeah, word spreads quick doesn't it.

Penny: You can paint here you know. And I know you want to move on. Don't you want help when you do that.

Emma: I don't know. 

Penny: Listen, I don't know that much but, if you move then you are most likely to be by yourself. If you stay we will be here to help you through stuff. I know that when I am in a rough patch like you are, it doesn't help when I'm alone. Just think about it, I've gotta get back to work.

"Jack: You right Sophie.

Sophie: Apart from the fact you stole my friend then yeah"

"Emily: I know we have to keep it a secret Amy, but it's way too hard.

Amy: If you tell anyone we are good as dead."

Emily: Hey, It's hard sometimes, keeping the secret.

Amy: Yeah I know but, it's just part of our life now. If we tell, we won't be safe anymore.

Emily: It really sucks because when your in a relationship like Liam and I you have to be honest. It doesn't work otherwise.

Amy: He will find out one day.

Emily: Yeah, I won't be surprised if he broke up with me once he finds out. I trust him a lot.

Amy: Yeah I know, but we need to make sure that us three girls are safe, and I don't think we would be able to do that if you tell.

Scene Two

Beach

Jack: Hey Sophie, you ok?

Sophie: Apart from the fact that your stealing my best friend from me then yeah.

Jack: Why do you say that?

Sophie: I know she is moving in with you.

Jack: That's not stealing your best friend though.

Sophie: Well it kind of feels like it. Don't you spend enough time with each other?

Jack: Haven't you spent enough time with her during your life time? You live with her and you guys have been friends since primary. She's aloud to hang out with different people. I'm going to get back to work but please stop thinking that.

Scene Three

Cafe:

Rose: I am so tired from that. Why did we do that?

Bec: Don't ask me. Yeah, that run though and I think it was worse because we were on the beach so it was harder.

Chloe: Hey, have you guys seen Emma?

Bec: No, why?

Chloe: Can I tell you guys something?

Scene Four

Beach

Lily: What the hell Sophie!

Sophie: What?

Lily: How could you just walk up to Jack like that and say that he was stealing me from you.

Sophie: He is, come on the last time us girls all properly hung out was before you guys got together.

Lily: Your acting like your five, and I get to choose who I hang out with. It's not your choice.

Scene Five

Amy's House

Amy: How many times have we had to explain to you Emily, you can't tell anyone ok. Your not telling Liam.

Lisa: Hey, I feel like I have been missing heaps. What's going on.

Amy: Emily wants to tell Liam about us.

Lisa: Oh no, Emily. I know it's hard but you just can't ok.

Emily: Do you know what? You guys don't know what it's like. Keeping secrets it's practically lying to him. I am going for a walk.

Amy: Emily!

Scene Six

Chloe's house

Chloe: Hey, Emma.

Emma: Hey.

Chloe: What's that?

Emma: It's my bag. 

Chloe: Your packing.

Emma: No, I was going to though. I put all my stuff in there but then I realised I need to have more time to think about it.

Chloe: So your not leaving?

Emma: Well, I still don't know. I saw Michael actually. He was walking on the beach and saw me. He was going to talk to me I think but I just kind of walked faster.

Chloe: That must of been a bit awkward.

Emma: It's also a good reason why I should leave. He is here and I will see him a lot. It is going to be so hard to get over him if I see him all the time.

Scene Seven

Cafe:

Lily: Jack hey! I am so sorry about Sophie before she was way too out of line and you did not deserve it. 

Jack: It's alright. You ok?

Lily: Yeah I am just so angry with her. She is acting so immature. It's not on.

Jack: I know. You don't have to move in though if it is going to affect your friendship.

Lily: No, I am moving in no matter what she says because she is my friend but she is not my boss. I am not letting her control me. If she doesn't like the fact that I'm moving in with you then that's her problem.

Scene Eight:

Beach:

Emily: Hey Liam!

Liam: Hey, you ok?

Emily: You can keep a secret right?

Liam: Yeah of course. What is it?

Emily: It's about my family. We aren't like any other family because, we are on the run.

Liam: That's a good joke. It is one is it?

Emily: No, it's the truth.

Liam: Why didn't you tell me that?

Emily: Because you weren't supposed to know. I wasn't supposed to tel, you but I did because, it's not right keeping things from you. You can't tell anyone. What are you doing?

Liam: I won't tell anyone but, I can't be with someone who can so easily lie to be and not be honest with me. I'm done.

Emily: Liam WAIT!!

Scene Nine

Sophie's house

Bec: Hey Sophie.

Sophie: Hey. Just so that you know Lily is moving out.

Rose: She moving in with Jack, I could see it coming.

Sophie: Yeah. 

Rose: You know, I know you guys haven't been that close lately but she is just living her life. I think you need to let that happen and actually start being happy about this.

Sophie: I know. I am but we haven't spoken properly for such a long time.

Bec: Yeah so, that's life. She is only living hers, why don't you do the same?

Ben: Well she asked if Emily Quin worked here and I said yes. Then she kept asking about the Quin family.

Kelly: Yeah no I don't know her. She could be visiting them.

Ben: Maybe.

Scene Two

Jacks House

Jack: You got anything else?

Lily: Nope, I do have heaps of stuff though hey.

Jack: Yes, I agree. You ok? You haven't spoken much since we left.

Lily: Yeah I'm fine. It's just that I've lived there for so long, leaving it is weird. I am glad I'm with you now though. 

Jack: Really? 

Lily: Yes. So I think I've got two more boxes left in the car. I'll be right back.

Scene Three

Restaurant 

Ben: Your staring. 

Kelly: Yeah I know. At that woman.

Ben: Why?

Kelly: I don't know. I'm starting to think that it is strange. Why would she come to Emily's workplace if she was visiting?

Ben: I don't know, I was gonna ask you that question before. Oh she's leaving.

Kelly: Yeah, maybe I should introduce myself.

Ben: Well you better think fast because she is walking fast.

Kelly: Ok be right back.

Scene Four 

Beach

Kelly: Hey I'm Kelly!

Kasey: Kasey, what brings you here?

Kelly: Oh I work in that restaurant you were in before. I heard you have been asking about the Quins.

Kasey: You a friend of theirs.

Kelly: Yes.

Kasey: Let me tell you something, they aren't who they say they are.

Kelly: What? Are you joking?

Kasey: No, I'm not very good at joking. All I know is that they have been lying to you.

Kelly: I've gotta go back to work but, could you please not spread rumours about my friends again.

Kasey: It's not a rumour. Ask them yourself.

Scene Five

Amy's House

Amy: Hey you ok Emily?

Emily: Yeah, Liam broke up with me.

Amy: Really, Why?

Emily: I'd rather not talk about it right now. I'm going to my room.

Amy: Ok, if you want to talk to me about it later though, I'm here.

Scene Six

Jacks House

Lily: Ok, I literally have nothing else to unpack. That was quick considering I only moved in yesterday.

Jack: It is. Hey, Sophie called before.

Lily: Really?

Jack: Yeah, did you hear the phone ringing?

Lily: No I was too busy. I'm glad anyway, don't really want to talk to her right now.

Jack: Really?

Lily: Yeah, I mean she is acting so immature. She was so rude to you as well, I'm just going to ignore her for a few days because it's not acceptable.

Jack: Yeah. I'm not trying to steal you though from her.

Lily: I know. She needs to grow up.

Scene Seven

Restaurant 

Ben: You ok Kelly? 

Kelly: Yes.

Ben: You sure?

Kelly: Oh my gosh Ben!! I'm fine. Now stop asking.

Ben: Ok, you're not. What is it?

Kelly: That Kasey, she said something about the Quins lying to us. Apparently they have a secret.

Ben: Rubbish.

Kelly: Yeah I know. But it could also be true. I just can't stop thinking about it. I don't think they would lie to us but that is depending on what it is.

Ben: Do you know the secret.

Kelly: Kasey, told me that they are on the run. That is all she said.

Ben: Oh. That's big.

Kelly: Yeah I know, it's huge and I don't know. There is one thing I could do.

Scene Eight:

Amy's House:

Amy: Hey! Oh hi Kelly. 

Kelly: Hi, um can I ask you something?

Amy: Yeah sure come in.

Kelly: So, this woman came into the restaurant today and asked for Emily. Then she asked about you guys as a family.

Amy: Really?

Kelly: Yeah. She said you guys were on the run.

Amy: Haha that's hilarious!!

Kelly: Is it true?

Amy: Of course not! Why would we keep something like that from you.

Scene Nine:

Jacks House

Lily: I can get it. Sophie what are you doing here.

Sophie: Just came to see if you were settling in ok. I rang before.

Lily: Really? We were really busy. I am settling in ok.

Sophie: You're angry with me. I was acting immature and I was rude to Jack. I hope this hasn't ruined our friendship.

Lily: I know. It might not ruin our friendship. For a while you have been doing it though. It's not on. I need to take a break, otherwise I will scream.

Sophie: You happy?

Lily: I have always been happy. Yes I am happy living here now. This is my new life. Why don't you live like I am? I'm busy so I can't chat any longer.
