The First Murder

 It wasn't planned. It wasn't out of jealousy or hate. It just happened. Nobody knew why but this person was out to get us, for whatever reason. I dont know. We were all so scared..we didn't know what to do or what would happen next. Let's just say we were real lucky to escape on that fateful night. Let's head back to the beginning, where it all started. On a street named "shallow row". It was a quite street, where nothing really happened...except for that murder which still haunts us to this day, as I , Jade shallow, was the witness to it all. I saw it with my own eyes. That poor girl...bless her. We'll avenge her.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On a quite street..named "shallow row" stood a line of  4 houses. All attached to eachother. In the first house lived a girl named Stephanie Jones, she's was the determined, kind, spirited type  of girl who loved to help others. Shes also a detective, in her early 20s. 23 To be exact. She lived alone, and had the smallest house to the rest.
Next to her lives a boy by the name Jordan Stevens, he's the usual annoying, self centered type of boy, who likes to put on a tough guy sort of act to impress the girls. Speaking of girls, he's also the 'player' of the group. Who loves to flirt with girls that dont have any interest in him what so ever, he's made a really bad imprssion on everyone, so he isn't really that well liked. Even til this day. He lives with his sister, who's only 18,while he's 21.
Next is the oldest of the group, Luke mellow, he's the tallest of the group and the most smartest. He's 24, and lives alone with his cat, lucifer. He loves computers, he's the most soft hearted of the group but can be arragont and stubborn sometimes. He means well though, he will do anything to help out his friends even if it means to sacrafice something. He's the trustworthy guy you can always rely on. He's a good friend to have, someone you can talk to.
Finally we have Jade Shallow, she's the youngest and smallest of the group, only 20. But She's the most deadly, having been brought up with a rough past, Jade finds it difficult to trust people and to communicate with strangers. Not only does she suffer from bipolar and anger issues, but also has severe anxiety when in public places. Sometimes even to the point of having really bad spasms. Her friends all know about these flaws but don't care, even if those thinfs sound bad she has a good side to her too. One she doesn't show too much. It's a rare site.
"Don't you dare speak to me that way young lady! You're coming over to visit us wether you like it or not! I dont want to say it again. We haven't seen you in over 4 months and this is how you speak to your mother!?" An agressive voice rang from down the line. "I know, I know, I'm sorry. It's just..I can't stand the guy that lives next to you. He really gives me the creeps.". A younger girl replied, sounding bored. The woman on the other side sighed. Not wanting to hear anymore from her daughter, all she wanted was to see her. That was all. "Jade dear, please just come round. Your father doesn't have that long left, he has something he wants to give to you. He said its important.". "He has something for me..like wha-", she was interrupted by a knock on the door."Um,I'll call you back, someone's at my door. I love you, bye.". With that she placed her  phone on the side of her Tv and proceeded to the door, seeing a shadowy figure on the other side. She opens it to find one of her closest friends, Luke. She smiles.
"Oh, hey Luke. What brings you here? Come to see if I'm being harassed by Jordan or something? Sorry, not today." She says, followed by a laugh. Luke smiles at her warmly, laughing at what his friend said. He replies with "No, I'm here to show you something I found.". This peeked Jade's curiosity, she wanted to know what he was talking about. "Oh really? Well, come on in. I'll make you tea, coffee? Anything you like?". "No thanks," he replied. "If you have coke or something, I'd appreciate that." He took a seat on her sofa, which was surprisingly very soft.
Jade nodded, headed to the kitchen to get Luke a cool coke out from the freezer. She popped it open, came back into the living room and handed him the drink. She quickly took a seat across from him on the other sofa, having got herself a coke too. "Now then," she began "care to explain to me what you found?"
Luke smirked at the thought of him finding something like this, he pulled out his phone, quickly did his password and showed Jade an article with a title that read 'Children going missing near the street shallow row, keep kids indoors.' Alongside a bunch of images of the missing children, they were all under the age of 10. Jades heart skipped a beat. She didn't like to admit but..she was terrified. A kindapper on her street!?  'What the hell am I going to do!?'  She's thought to herself. She snapped her look back up to Luke's eyes, as if she was staring into nothing. Her expression was blank. All she could think about was if she was safe. Would the kidnapper get her? Where was he now? All these thoughts shot through her pounding head like bullets tearing through paper.
"Jade? Jade, are you ok?" Luke shook her a little, to which Jade gasped. "Ahh! Oh, s-sorry Luke. I was just..shocked..that's all.". " you're telling me, you scared me for a minute there.". Jade smiled. She knew he was the caring type, it was kind of cute to see him care so much. "Anyway," he said. " isn't this crazy?" He resumed, pointing at the article on his phone. "Yeah..it sure is." She replied, sipping from her coke. "I wonder where this guy is now? Do you think he lives around here or?". Luke took a sip from his coke, sighed then put his phone away. "I dont know, there is however an abanodned building not too far from here. Maybe he like hides there or something. Who knows? We could go check it out if you want to?" . He took another's sip, "You never know what you'll find.". He teased.
Jade took a final sip from her coke and threw it in the bin next to where she was sitting. "Luke," she started, "what if all those kids are still alive? They could be out there somewhere!" She was starting to get panicky, thinking of all the possibilities about those children. "Calm down Jade, your overthinking this. They could be dead, we won't know." He stated. "To fucking hell 'we won't know'!  If those kids are alive, I'll find em'. Them I'll find that man and I'll make him pay for what he did!" Jade was starting to get angry, she had a bad temper. She even took pills that would calm her it was that bad. Luke knew this, he's dealt with it before. "Jade, you're getting angry,Please calm down.".
"Don't tell me to fucking calm down! I care about those kids!".
"What? And I don't? I do care about those kids Jade!"
"Then stop acting like they're dead! I want to go look for them!"
"How!? We don't even know where the hell they are! How are we suppose to find them!?"
"We use your brains! Besides, you even said there was an abandon building somewhere!"
"That doesn't mean we just walse on up to a fucking abandoned building where a kidnapper could be! It's too dangerous Jade, it's suicide!"
'Fuck this'  she thought. "I'm
Going out! Don't bother following me!" With that she was out the door, it was cold, windy and rainy. All she wore was a plain shirt , pants, socks and shoes. But she didn't really care. After a few minutes of walking she was no where near her street. She was now in a wooded area, she didn't know where she was but it was peaceful. It even had a little stream in the middle. Soon she noticed a small building up ahead, it looked run down and quite creepy but she was curious. So she ventured towards the deceased looking building, her eyes flickering around, looking at everything around her. "Could this be the abandoned building Luke was talking about?" She said  To herself. "No." She added. "I can't help myself, I have to look!".
The girl entered the building catiously, trying not to make too much noise that could attract any unwanted attention. The building had 3 floors, the basement, the 1st floor and the 2nd floor. No attic. 5 minutes passed, she began getting bored, having looked in all the rooms. Apart from the basement..
"Might as well check the basement, could be something there for all I know." She headed doen the basement stairs and it wasn't long before she started hearing muffled screams coming from inside. "What the fuck?". She slowly reached the bottom of the stairs and peered round the corner, only to see..a man, in all black cutting open a young girl that was hung up by her neck with some what looked to be wire of  some kind. What was disturbing; was that the girl was still alive. She's was crying and most defiantly in pain as her insides were beinf pulled out by scissors.
"Oh my fucking god!" Jade blurted out accidently. She slid her hand across her mouth,but the man already saw her. So without thinking she said "You sick fucking freak! How could you!?". Then man simply laughed at her. He licked the scissors he had in his hands, which also had bits of the girls flesh attached to it and smiled lightly at a now terrified Jade. "You saw nothing young girl.". Jade backed away slowly, only to say.."Oh, I saw something alright! Something that I'll never forget!". She ran, As fast as she could go. Eventually she reached the woods, hid behind a tree,checked behind  her to see if he was following. He wasn't. So She then decided to ring Luke. He picked up straight away.
"Hello? Jade? You alright? You sound like you're panting."
"I'm fine! Luke listen: I went through the woods, I saw that building you were talking about and decided to go in--"
Luke interrupted her.
"Wait what!? You know what I said before! Where are you now!? What happened!? Tell me!!"
"I went into the basement and I saw a man cutting up a girl! It was the most disgusting thing ever! I'm coming back now!"
"Oh my-that's horrible! Hurry back here! Jordan and Steph are here too. Bye!"
"Bye!"
Jade slid here phone into her pocket and ran all the way home.
